Truth is, Burna Boy like every other Nigerian artist needs good song writers. His lyrics are so repetitive with just 4 or 5 lines. 98.9% of our artists are guilty of this. Burna is predictable and monotonous right now. He's overrated and he seems to have allowed his recent suceess to get into his head

Wizkid dips into afrobeat songs too like jaiyejaiye, gbese (with djtunez), lagos vibes, manya, fever. These songs all have dt afrobeats vibe, but I think he leaned more into the highlife aspects of it which I prefer.

Burna could win a Grammy for dis afrobeats style though cos they love dt type of music. Felas sons have been nominated several times because of it. I wish him all the best. His only song dt I really love is dt 'angelina song. I could listen to it all day. I liked dangote lyrics too but not really the music.
