Like I said some pages back...base on national team performance/colors,if I were to b rohr,I would bench eida etebo or ndidi for him..its obvious from d Olympic days dt he's a better ball passer,he has every oda qualities d duo we re using in d midfield atm, but d passing skill in him,its better dan d duo, my opinion wink
Maybe Iheanacho should have gone to AFCON based on his 2016 form then...

The olympics was 2016, 3 years ago, what is Azubuike doing in his matches today?

You are right, the midfield needs a better passer.

We keep using the Olympics in 2016 to rate Azubuike. What has he done since??
You're saying his talent vanished after the Olympics or he never was talented in the first place?
What I see is a player on the right path after an ill adviced move. He presently plays for an ambitious club and so far he has been very good. Ekong and Omeruo played for lesser teams in Turkey and still played for the super eagles.
I don't understand the negative stereotype he is getting. It smells like an agenda driven bias.

azubuike have always been a decent player but the issue is can he bring something different to the team? what super eagles need is a Cm who can push the ball forward, assist, score and help out defensively too
Go and buy Super man for Nigeria na.

azubuike is not good enough for the current super eagles, maybe he will get a chance when siasia takes over the coaching duties of the team cheesy cheesy cheesy

before i will take azubuike serious he needs to leave turkey to a better league where he will be easily monitored. i have seen him play severally and to be sincere i don't see him adding anything more than etebo and ndidi in the team currently. another thing working against him is that he is petit cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy to function well as a DM

The Super Eagles we saw in Egypt hardly beat any team possession wise. They play with two destroyers who are not technical enough to beat a press and Iwobi who is better running with the ball than distrustion.

You're saying this same team don't need a player who can distribute and also win possession?
Are you sure you really mean well for this team?

na possession dey you important abi na result? i agree to the fact that rohr deployed a pivot at the front of the back 4 and that is why i am clamouring for the inclusion of a good cm/b2b midfielder who can confidently move the ball forward, pass and also impose himself as a goal threat as well. these qualities azubuike don't have it.

there no much difference in azubuike's game and that of etebo but the edge the latter has is he is versatile and has more physical presence in the middle than the former.

we have 2 good destroyers so will it make sense adding another one?

He has not improved since the olympics in my opinion.

Look at how moving to a better league has helped Omeruo and even Ekong.

There is no agenda against him and there is no guarantee that my opinions are correct. We are in a sports forum so you will hear different opinions.

I will be happy if Azubuike comes in and improves the team but i feel that he won't.

agenda against who? lolz i will even give a young kingsley michael a chance in the team than azubuike, atleast he is playing the top level in one of the best leagues in the world after just moving to europe 2 years ago.

I think that list should have been for testing new players than calling all the players that just finished playing the afcon

He should have included maja at first

You asked if he would improve our midfield? The answer is Yes. He brings something different from the guys we currently have there. Don't mistaken the word different. He has the same engine etebo brings into play, he wins the ball back cleanly as Ndidi & in addition pass the ball incisively better than the duo. Tbaba, have always admire your views & i still do. You see, most nigerians judge a player by their career path & not objectively enough on their innate quality. I'm not advocating for his inclusion in the NT for have seen him play their before but he's quality.
Azubike is not half as good as you are hyping him

Otherwise he would be playing for Madrid or PSG

I saw ekong against Milan and he was a collosal figure in his team's defence line. That's the dividends of playing in a big league.

Look at omeruo now, even awaziem have followed suit. There is no room for players from obscure leagues anymore in the super eagles

Ndidi dts not a mediocre undecided, aside his Sterling performance against guinea,to me ndidi is just bang average in Nigeria jersey, nothing special abt him, even etebo most peeps don't rate here, outshined him during afcon undecided

Me i have no issue with azubuike , even thou i like him but i am okay with eagles midfield for now

Etebo should better leave that stoke city next season, if he dont then he is not ambitious, i am not the coach to decide but if i am rohr and etebo remains at stoke, i will drop him immediately, shebi yo are already speaking of players from obscure leagues and championship is one of them for your information

The brazil national team or others national team will rather call a player from turkey than the so called championship

I rate anderson esiti ahead of zuby also

Azubuike's strength is ball distribution. You can't say the same of Etebor and certainly not Ndidi. Even Iwobi's ball distribution is poor, he's better running with the ball than sitting back to dictate the tempo of the team.
We went to the world cup and AFCON with 4 midfielders out of which 2 have retired. Yet you don't see Azubuike's relevance, even when you don't have any other player with his skill set.
In the end, Nigerians deserve what they get.

Good ball distribution with no assist and goals to account to that?

Passing the ball sideways follow for the distribution? I never knew he was as good as pirlo, Carrick, xavi or Alonso lolz
