You know that first stage of a romance where everything feels like a movie ? , the long calls, holding of hand, that chill feeling you get when she rest her head on your shoulder, calls you just to ask where you are. If am honest, those are the best part of a relationship/ situationship . for the first time in your life or for the first time after your last relationship, you feel good about yourself again . you walk like you own the world , you talk like you have a billion dollar in your account ,you feel wanted.
Then you step into the next stage of whatever you have. You guys become more comfortable, stuffs you hide from each other becomes known, you tell each others secrets you had , you bring out the child in you , you display habits you where shy of . this stage may or may not last long depending on the individuals .
Someone starts expecting more ,or someone whats more space . tolerance level begins to drop , trust begins to fade. Feelings keepdropping like a ball in a baby's hand ; and you try to pick it up every chance you have. Note at this stage the cuddling, kissing and sex rate drops too, so there is more conversation than usual .
When conversation becomes more than romance , then that the making point of a relationship/situationship. You either realize you want to be with this person ( then you do all it takes to keep that person) or you starts seeing too many difference between you too and you just have to walk away .
Of course the person who gets left behind feels Like shit . they try every thing the can to change the situation but with time you understand it's a lost cause.
And that brings us to the final stage ; the letting GO . you try to feel good about yourself, you take long walks to clear your head , all you are left with are the so called "golden moment" , which you cherish . you go to sleep thinking about them . then one day those fade's away too , because you are about to start the same journey with someone OVER AGAIN .

You are very right, relationship, love situationship or whatever it's called these days is just an unending circle, like repeating same thing with different people until you reach the last bus stop lol, we can only pray and wish the circle won't be very wide at the end.

Even if you reach your last bus stop, you are still not immune. Most marriages/long term relationships will experience The seven-year itch, when it happens, you either divorce/separate or adapt. Scary stuff.
