stepping on the brakes at speeds over 40miles per hour and you feel your brake pedal pulsating and your vehicle vibrating? It is usually the brake rotors aka brake disks, they have worn out unevenly and in some instances (this instance ) rusted. The brake rotors have air vents to enable rapid cooling but when rust sets in replacement is the sure option. In cases where the rotors are not trusted and the rotors are measured and found to be within specifications they can be resurfaced in a machine shop. 2 Likes

Shalomc:I have done what a lot of technicians were scared to do. I am first a mechanic before a Cardealer , check the number of threads on my profile 314 topics and counting and over half of them are educational. There is no such thing as a cheap car, something must give. If cars were cheap in a particular region every one would be importing from that region . I have educated you lot for free now you will ask the right questions and see clarity before parting with hard earned money. When buying a car from Canada, do not be swayed by the outside looks, but the underbody looks . If the bonnet has started rusting bonnet that is on top a car you can only imagine what is brewing under the car. A lot of you have messaged me on whatsapp to mind my business, that the buyers already knew what they were getting into, well it is not in your place to tell me who to educate or not. I am at liberty to post on his thread but did not, I posted on an educational thread with a smaller view you were the ones that made the thread trend. I am going to be doing a brake rotors and caliper work tonight on my Jeep if Gazzuzz doesn't mind I will post some pics on this thread to add some point , basically all cars are the same |
