Ive been to one like this before. Before the union they obtained cost estimates for reception- hall, events planning, food, drinks, asoebi....etc

On day of marriage guests were fed and given drinks in the premise of the registry after solemnization of the union. Everyone dispersed. No reception.

At the groom father's house they held prayers attended by both sides, close families only. The bride's father gave thanks and closed by announcing a huge gift to the couple. The gift was the money would have spent to host reception. Afterward they shared food with people just in the neighborhood. They are three houses down from us, so yes I ate food. .

If this were to be an exam, you don fail already. The venue of the wedding is in a Hall, check it out..
and the hall itself is enough as a reception. After the wedding, the invitees would be served food in same place, musicians would entertain them and everybody goes back home.
