Was searching through some of my documents today and stumbled upon the NNPC Corporate Policy and Procedure Guide that was given to us during orientation.

It is a very detailed manual that talks about everything associated with NNPC including benefits/ entitlements, training, conditions for leave of absence, working hours, recruitment process ( shortlisting, interview types and panel composition for different grade levels, criteria for success, etc), specific kinds of jobs for each grade level, loans, long service award, secondment to IOCs...name it.

@ Oga xfire, I hail thee!!. Please I will like to ask a question, hoping you can help with some clarification if you have an idea about it. It is regarding your earlier post about posting after training. You said posting was mostly based on vacancies and thus discipline, that most chemical engineers were sent to refineries, petroleum engineers to NPDC and accountants to almost anywhere.

My question is aside from the fact that we all know the recruitment is based on the state quota system of the FCC rules, does NNPC usually require that the recruitment produce a specified number of recruit per discipline depending on the vacancies you earlier mentioned? say for example 30 mechanical engineers, 40 electrical, 50 pet engineers e.t.c. From your time what was the trend like in terms of spread of recruits as per discipline, emphasis on G.T

We know in big companies, that is normally the case but NNPC na government company, anything fit happen

On the day of the oral interview but that doesn't mean every government agency will do the same.
