candidtalk: For your information, the SS did not lead the nation for up to 8 years, and in fact have never led the nation for up to 8 years, so I will want to know why Yorubas betrayed him in preference for a northerner, who is by far less qualified than GEJ to be the president, and the region that he comes from has monopolised the presidency of Nigeria. Please give us one of your smart reasons why the above is the case. The thing is that you people are experts at always rationalising the unrealistic. If you say every Igbo man seeks to destroy Nigeria (which is what I am getting from your above message), what is the SS man guilty of, that caused the SW to betray that southern group. What did the SS president do, that is worse than Fulani terrorists raping and pillaging communities and RUGA proprosal e.t.c. WHy do you (and possibly your other SW cohorts) see IPOB's deviance as more destructive of Nigeria, than northerners that are supporter of islamic fundamentalist views, Fulani terrorism, RUGA and coastline seizure plans? 3 Likes 1 Share |

OfoIgbo: You guys love revising history. The Yorubas, particularly the likes of OBJ, ensured GEJ became substantive President and supported him, against the hawkish North, to become the PDP candidate who then went on to win the 2011 elections, thanks to Yoruba votes, against Northerners in the form of Buhari and Ribadu. GEJ lost 2015 down to his own misrule the SW was not obligated to back blindly as you Igbos do for your kinsmen. Osinbajo, our so-called son, still did not prevent the SW voting healthily for Atiku and Obi to show you bigots that 2015 was not a betrayal of GEJ but a rejection of misrule. Oyo even went to PDP in 2019 and almost Osun too. If not that you Igbos are an unfair people, you would appreciate the Yorubas as purist voters who make decisions on what is best for Nigeria rather than support misrulers blindly because of ethnic affiliation. 10 Likes |

candidtalk:Bro it's not the yorubas "alone" that defeated Jonathan's pdp in the 2015 presidential election. Have you forgotten the roles of saraki, tambuwal, kwankwaso and all the other northern elites. Remember that the recent presidential election showed that yorubas didn't even give Buhari/osibanjo more than 60% of their votes yet Buhari won. What do you think the core northern political leaders will make of this ( they can retain power without the SW ). Another thing bro, the SW will not have the majority support of the SS, SE, and MB ( you know this is really what is obtainable right now, especially if the SW candidate is from APC, which seems likely.) Bro ask yourself this : if a SW candidate is contesting with a core northerner, who will the average core Northerner vote at the polls? Bro as long as the SW doesn't have the full backing of the SS, SE, and MB it's really tough for you guys. P. S I didn't insult you, I only aired my views. I'm your brother from the south east!! 5 Likes 1 Share |

mrvitalis: Difference between Yoruba and Igbo man. You accept your fate and we influence ours. North can betray Yorubas. Their choice. Rest assured we will act, unlike Igbos, to address the anomaly of the North monopolising power once we are sure this is what they are committed to doing. Right now there is no concrete evidence of the North wanting to do this other than the wailing of the likes of EL Rufai and other flaky characters from the North who are nothing in the grand scheme of things. When the going gets tough then the tough get going. 2 Likes |

[s] OfoIgbo:[/s] This is my problem with Igbos. You guys have short memories, no wonder you can't trace your history. Were you deaf when GEJ said Yorubas play Amala politics? When Arthur Eze insulted Awolowo in the presence of GEJ and the drunkard was laughing like a bushbaby, were you in coma then? Under GEJ, the most senior political office holder was a mere Minister - Akin Adesina. candidtalk: At the mention of Igbo or the Igbo tribe, people like u rant in anger and extreme envy...why take ur stupidity to the national front when it is obvious u can't control this your backyard envy. The write up above, does not in any way affects the Igbo's race nor demean their tempo. However u chose to bring up this matter to get people agitated but man,u are in for it. Next time,u have to reason properly before u dish out discouraging words, because am so sure that, had the Igbo man not bought your fathers land in some parts of Lagos state,u wouldn't be here ranting in envy. mrvitalis: Sure, they can betray Yorubas. But the problem is that they need support in the South and they know that a marriage of convenience with Igbos won't last. The North sees seeking support from Igbos is seeking support from secessionists and there's nothing the North fears than splitting Nigeria. The North supports the East, the North wins. Small time, the East starts crying for secession, both North and East would be looking up to the SW for support. 1 Like |
