bskyb:Guy, I tire o. Many here still spent thousands on their MTN line within the past few days. At least acquire a different sim and use that in the meantime. Just don't support their business for now (no need to destroy your MTN sim). |

We don't want any retaliatory looting in South West. Sanwo - Olu should give executive order against this kind of things. Oba of Lagos should speak. It is against our character. They should shift to other States. |

Bimpeusman:Still lies from the lying minister. MTN and ShopRite repatriate billions from Nigeria to South Africa every quarterly. Have we so soon forgotten the CBN fracas with MTN over billions of dollars illegally repatriated to south Africa earlier this year? When NCC sanctioned MTN billions over unregistered SIM card, MTN head in south Africa resigned, and top delegates flew form Johannesburg to Nigeria same day to beg. APC is a disgrace to Nigeria. Incompetent idiots everywhere. |

Mutemenot:There was never a time MTN sold sim at 100K. At 30K in 2001, most people that bought MTN are still using their line today. Those who bought Glo line few years later, how many of us are still using our lines? The quality of service of MTN is far higher. Nigerians cannot operate MTN & DSTV the way it is being operated. |

oz4real83:Most Valuable Comment(MVP) Hey guys, Seun and team, It's time you guys institute a Most Valuable Comment (MVC) Award on sensitive and topical threads that affect our polity, at least, once in a day or week. The selection of the thread could be at your discretion or a product of votes of readers. This will stimulate healthy debates, cognitive posts, replies and quotations. It will also discourage lame and senseless comments as is the order of the day here. Best regards. |

aolawale025:agree with wetin? In International relation you don't show your enemy you're weak, who doesn't know Nigerians are the one working there. You talk tough so that your enemy will fear you. Look at US and China, Trump is shouting everyday that China is feeling the heat alone, Chinese at the other hand are claiming that they're winning the war, that American companies are struggling. We Nigerians truly deserve our politicians. Old men wey no know anything |

musa234:What can we do?We don't have any leverage against them, their economic and military is better than ours.We have been fu-cking ourselves in the a-ss since 1966.The day the first republic die, that was the day Nigeria die.Our politicians and any civil-servant that ever stole 1 Kobo is to be blame for this.If our country is functioning,no single Nigerian will live among those people. All this is as a result of our own doing. |

aolawale025:Not right at all. South Africa has a better bargaining power with this statement. He should have kept quiet. Engage police to stem down the destruction. Create conditions that will make it very difficult for South Africa to repatriate their investments and profits here. Arrest South Africans with just flimpsy excuse here, charged them to court and see their government run to us for negotiation. |

Honestly we do not need to attack companies own by white south Africans in nigeria,Black South Africans own nothing both in SA and in Nigeria. It is the responsibility of our government to hold SA government accountable for the carnage going on in their country of which Nigerians are victims.Recall our ambassador back home and give their ambassador 3 days to leave. That will send a strong message to those idiots. |
