LIKE SOUTH AFRICA LIKE NIGERIA

As you condemn the xenophobic attacks in parts of South Africa, let it not be lost on you that such attacks are possible in Nigeria.

After watching that country's deputy police chief justify the attacks and vowed that they will not allow foreigners take over 80 per cent of their cities, I was reminded of Nigeria.

In Lagos here, many people believe Igbos have taken over 80 per cent of "what is not theirs".

I remember a very close friend of mine who once posted on Facebook, justifying calls to expel Igbos from Lagos. According to him, they own 75 per cent of Lekki. And for that they should be expelled.

The same is being said about Nigerians in South Africa.

And you ask, where were these people when a large chunk of their land was purchased by "foreigners"? Who sold these lands to those so-called foreigners?

And as we are alarmed and angered by the killing, looting and burning of our brothers' businesses in parts of the former apartheid enclave, do not think it won't happen back him.

Let us begin to examine the black race to understand why we are like this.

According to 1798 Encyclopaedia Britannica, “NEGRO, Homo pelli nigra, a name given to a variety of the human species, who are entirely black, and are found in the Torrid zone, especially in that part of Africa which lies within the tropics.

In the complexion of negroes we meet with various shades; but they likewise differ far from other men in all the features of their face. Round cheeks, high cheek-bones, a forehead somewhat elevated, a short, broad, flat nose, thick lips, small ears, ugliness, and irregularity of shape, characterize their external appearance.

The negro women have the loins greatly depressed, and very large buttocks, which give the back the shape of a saddle.

Vices the most notorious seem to be the portion of this unhappy race: idleness, treachery, revenge, cruelty, impudence, stealing, lying, profanity, debauchery, nastiness and intemperance, are said to have extinguished the principles of natural law, and to have silenced the reproofs of conscience.

They are strangers to every sentiment of compassion, and are an awful example of the corruption of man when left to himself.”

You can argue this, but South Africans and some of us typify this.
I don't understand your points sir

SanwoOlu is another disaster in the governance of lagos state. He’s a puppet to the team bullion van. He’s just here to make noise. I think he’s an accidental governor without clear vision to pilot the affairs of Lagos state. He has been gallivanting around without no actions.

No one is Solving this Problem here, Unemployed South Africans aren't happy with the high Number of Hustling Migrants in their Country, Crime is other thing that they are complaining about, Unemployed South Africans aren't happy at all, You can clearly see by yourself, We have high unemployment in South Africa, The Problem of the Continent is coming to South Africa, I believe our unemployed South Africans want to protect their interests in a wrong way, The solution is your governments to take care of their responsibilities, Unemployed South Africans are crying because of this Problem. Our economy is down here in South Africa, The Problem isn't hate But High Number Of Hustling Migrants Competing with our Struggling South Africans, That one is a fact, No one is promoting Xenophobic But you must take your responsibility instead of crying because you don't solve the problem, This Looters do one thing time and again when they are stressful. You governments don't come with solution for their People, But Blame South Africa for their own failures

Unfortunately, not been around here lately, been busy chasing the paper, and thank goodness it’s coming in..
But if you reading, think about this, South Africans don’t do businesses here, they just they brand, the name .,. The workers, staffs are all Nigerians, so why destroying or looting from a Nigerian just like you, don’t make sense to me..it’s a simple logic, business stores in Shoprite are rented out to Nigerians like you, and you want to destroy them, it’s not logical..
The only mouthpiece here is the government, but as Usual “DULL-APO” won’t say nothing .. Been reading and following up posts and A cow has never been Involved, so why would he do anything?
I also saw a post on Nigerians arming themselves with knifes brought out from the boot of a car, and if you watched the video , you’d see that they spoke in Yoruba dialect, but some slowpokes here earlier said this was an Igbo fight and it was only igbos in South Africa being killed and whose properties were being destroyed.
I’m impressed we have finally realized that this Xenophobic attack is not on igbos , or yourbas or any other tribe , but Attack on Nigerians and everyone has been united on social media, this shows that Nigerians still have sense , it’s just frustration from the government that makes it seem otherwise..
If we can channel this togetherness on politicians and speak up with one voice irrespective of tribe or ethnic or religious affiliations, we will get there someday
I’m all in for “an eye for an eye “ , but think twice, an eye for an eye does not play out in this situation.
Don’t go stealing from a fellow Nigerian like you in the name or represal attacks
