Lana1:How is N. Kovac 7th and even top 10? Eric Tan Hag is a top 10 coach and should be higher than E. Valverde and Kovac. I disagree with so many seedings on that list so I no agree. No disrespect but Ole Talker should be outside the top 20 and to imagine he is higher than Eric Tan Hag. Favre is a terrific coach and should be around the top 12. Naglesmann is a good coach but top 5? Brendan Rodgers has no business being top 10 even top 15. Where is M. Alergri on this list? Is it because he is without a gig now? I like what they did with Manzarri because I think he did a good job with Torino. |

Lana1:Klopp over Pep? ![]() Erik Ten Hang at 19 below OGS? ![]() Very laughable list, any list that doesn’t have Pep at no 1 should be discarded ASAP. |

Long but good read. I feel like we need to accept that we have to go through some pain to get back to the level we desire. We cannot take a shortcut unless we want to go through the City route. We shouldn't expect anything from this team for the next 2 years. No guarantees it is Ole that will get us back to the top but we need to see this rebuild through and suffer now so the future can be better for the club. Times article from Henry Winter: |

raumdeuter:Very laughable list. How would you rank Klopp, Nagelsmann, and Tuchel? Not in terms of achievement but in terms of overall ability as managers? Who would you want Bayern to appoint? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by raumdeuter: 2:05pm On Sep 04, 2019 |
Adisaowallla:Rooney under Moyes had 17 goals and 12 assists Mata in half season 15 games under Moyes 6 goals 5 assists. That is after being damaged by Mourinho |

afrodoc2:1 Klopp Very far gap next Naggelsman Last Tuchel Klopp is the ready coach Bayern should get now if he is available. Him and Pep are the 2 best coaches by a distance. We cannot get Pep again but Klopp being German might be tempted 2. Naggelsman is young and has done a lot of impressive work, He plays very aggresively but he still has lapses in defence. Which he needs to fix,I think he needs a tier 2 gig to prove himself like he is doing at leipzig now 3. Tuchel is the worst IMO I think he is even worse than Kovac and the reason is this. Tuchel is a tactical mind in the German coaching test conducted by the German FA only Tuchel and Tobias Schweinsteiger got perfect scores in the THEORETICAL exam So this theory affects him so much, He tries to be a Pep but an inferior version of it. When he faced Pep he tried to use Peps press against him Guardiola simply instructed Boateng to be sending long balls over the press that put Muller and Lewandoski vs Slow Hummels and Sokratis, at the end of the game it ended 5-1. He doesn't know the difference between theory and when to be practical Being an idealist, he thinks he can load teams with average players and get them to play his way, This can work at smaller teams but not at top sides, At Dortmund he bought over 10 players who are totally useless and the team is still struggling to offload them Schulle, Toprak, Isak, Mor, Rode, Gotze, Merino, Castro, Bartra, Park. He had some successful transfers like Dembele and (Weigl) He is known to have done some of the worst bottle jobs in the history of football. He led Liverpool 3-1 at Anfield by the 60th min and went to lose 4-3 conceding 3 goals in 30mins He led PSG when Man utd academy eliminated them after leading 2-0 in the first leg last season |

raumdeuter:Going to Anfield and leading 3:1 is already Impressive despite the Result. |

raumdeuter:LOL. I was certain you would arrange them in the order i listed them. Tuchel does seem to be a knockoff Pep but i would still rate him ahead of Kovac. The Kovac appointment always looked like a mistake IMO, as his teams have never really impressed. Tuchel on the other hand impressed at Mainz, however the fact that he succeeded Klopp at both Mainz and Dortmund makes rating his impact difficult. Nagelsmann's teams always offer excitement and i like his attacking mentality and the way he combines pressing and possession in good measure without going overboard with either (All 3 combine pressing and possession with Klopp favouring more pressing and Tuchel more possession). You are right though about his defensive lapses. Klopp was the guy we should have gotten in 2014 when we went for LVG, but hindsight is 20/20. If Nagelsmann does not become too pedantic and too much of a theorist he is going to achieve big things. |

afrodoc2:Will man utd have been patience with klopp like lfc did? If he didn't win anything last season there is 70% he might be on the hot seat |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 3:04pm On Sep 04, 2019 |
sod09:Possible. But i believe the obvious improvement in play would have got him at least 2 seasons., Remember that Moyes is the only to have had 1 season, and he is an obvious tactical dwarf. LVG and JM both got 2 seasons. |

afrodoc2:Kovac is terrible in his own way, he is a small team manager with a small team mentality. Where he only looks to defend, bunker no other ideas other than to run but at least Kovac knows and embrace his limitation na Tuchel wey dey always overrate himself If Tuchel can be pragmatic and drop those philosophies he would definitely be better than Kovac. Its easier for Tuchel to be a great than for Kovac but at this point you cant be having those mega choke jobs and be taken seriously |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by raumdeuter: 3:35pm On Sep 04, 2019 |
sod09:No Liverpool fans saw the improvement. Where was Liverpool before Klopp and where were they last season even if he had lost the final Before Klopp, They were rarely in the CL, the few times they made it to CL they were disgraced out, Now in the past 3 seasons Liverpool has become one of the favourite for the league and CL I think the league point last season will be the highest they ever got in their EPL history even without winning it Majority of Liverpool fans will see significant progress in their team |

larride:Top spot definitely deserved for Klopp. Best manager in the world and levels above Pep. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by larride(m): 4:06pm On Sep 04, 2019 |
spillo1:I disagree. Pep over Klopp for me. It’s debatable though so whichever divide you chose you fine. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristoBam: 4:56pm On Sep 04, 2019 |
larride:Yeah Pep over Klopp but I'm sure they put many things into consideration. For example, Klopp inherited an almost useless Team and turned it into something else. The Man City Team Giardiola inherited could still challenge for the title. |

larride: iamharkinwaley: raumdeuter: Roland17: weedtaker:I dont know what they were smoking when they made this list, but i want to believe the rankings is based solely on the exploits of this season so far. Coz i dont understand what Ole he has won or accolades he has earned to be a top 20 manager. Same goes for Rodgers who is ranked above Zidane, Valverde and Poch talkless of even being a top 10 manager. Zidane, Valverde, Ten Hag and Poch should be in the top 10. Sarri and Conte should remain in the top 10 but ranked lower than that. I also believe Lucien Favre is doing well at Dortmund to have a shot at top 10. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by larride(m): 5:38pm On Sep 04, 2019 |
ChristoBam:Well the team Pep inherited at City hasn’t won the league for 2 season before Pep, Pep even went trophyless in his first season, that should be a pointer towards how the team is. Pep has been the better manager in the past 3 seasons in my opinion. |

Rodgers is top 20 in my opinion, he knows how to improve players and his footballing style is very pleasing. I will have him placed at 15-17th but not out of the top 20. |
