komekn:Crap. The reason Iheanacho is not getting game time is simple. Vardy has the monopoly in the striking role. Not because Iheanacho did not perform. Lie small small. Do not let your hatred for Iheanacho consume your fairness in analysis. |

charlesemeka85:I will add to that list Victor Anichebe and Hope Akpan and with the small correction that Sone Aluko was in the EPL with Hull. |

komekn:Keshi gave Hope Akpan his break. Keshi was the one who gave Aluko more chances than any other Super Eagles coach. I think same with Anichebe. Haba. |

komekn:By the time Michael Babatunde was in the scene, Keshi preferred him to Aluko and Babatunde proved himself at the World Cup. Not bias. |

Yea I forgot anichebe. Akpan was played by Keshi severally after gaining promotion with reading after the world cup. Aluko was a star then in Scotland scoring week in week out but was ignored prior to the afcon. Keshi preferred Uzoenyi instead komekn: |

I am one who has put in thought into this and let us get one thing. The management of Leicester City are not going to bench Vardy, even during games Vardy is not doing well. The only way Vardy loses his place is fatigue or injury. With that, Iheanacho who is a replacement for Vardy occupies a place on the bench where he will not be used. So they have decided to leave him out until they feel there is need to give Vardy a break. For now, if Vardy is performing well or not, he plays 90mins, thus Nacho is not needed for now. It has nothing to do with Nacho not performing as the Haters want people to believe. Finito. |

charlesemeka85:Uzoenyi proved himself in CHAN. Keshi was not a coach who relied on big names but his tactics and strategies were always King. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 11:11pm On Sep 04, 2019 |
Keshi invited Aluko when he was even struggling with Hull in the epl but ignored him when he was on top form playing for Glasgow rangers in Scotland. It was after the career of uzoenyi and co stunted after the world cup that he gave Aluko a chance in the team. Prior to the 2014 world cup Aluko was balling hard for Hull city in the championship TheGoodJoe: |

I disagree with you on Uzoenyi. Keshi went for unknown players mainly from the local league whom he benefited from their moves to obscure leagues in Europe. This is known fact. Uzoenyi who couldn't play for Rennes first team in Europe made the afcon and world cup team at the expense of Aluko who did very well in Scotland and the English 2nd tier then TheGoodJoe: |

TheGoodJoe:I don't have any personal relationship with KC what so ever, why on earth would l hate him ❓ The answer is very simple, he has not performed commensurate with his £25 million transfer fee. He has after 51 games ( multiple opportunities) scored 4 goals that's simply ABYSMAL there is no other definition. But certainly HATRED is not one of them. |

charlesemeka85:Sone Aluko was in the EPL for Hull at that time and doing very well. |

charlesemeka85:Uzoenyi got the nod after Echiejile injured. Uzoenyi was not on the World Cup list. It was Michael Babatunde that took the creative midfield position from Aluko. As for the Rangers time, Keshi had some breakthrough talents who delivered like Mba. |

Proved which self at the world cup? How old is he and where is he playing today? Keshi made you guys believe he was the next thing closest to jj at the expense of better players who are natural and creative attacking midfielders such as ajagun, haruna and Aluko. Babatunde ko! TheGoodJoe: |

komekn:Leave that thing. Your own is pure hatred. You might pretend and deceive yourself about it, but it is true. You hate Iheanacho with a passion. Yet make excuses for other players like Iorfa that Mendes Cartel dropped him. If it was Iheanacho you would write Abysmal and no goals. |

charlesemeka85:For you to ask if Babatunde proved himself at the World Cup, shows you totally missed the impact of the young man. Even I was among those that criticised his inclusion over Aluko but was made to shut up at the World Cup. That was the magic of Keshi. He knew how to sprinkle his magic dust on so called ordinary players to perform beyond their known capabilities. Although sometimes he pushed his luck too far. |

Your first example is disputable, it is only useful if "velverde" is a really good coach without Messi. Hell na, he is not. For turkey they played at home, and their team is a pretty good one. Most teams try hard not to lose at home, even the weak ones. But to lose to a bunch of farmers-excuse me for using "farmers"- is a serious blight. And did you say Magascar was the first team to qualify for Afcon 2019? Without losing a game,Bros i beg, take it back. charlesemeka85: |

I was saying prior to the afcon. And the breakout star MBA where is he today? Since then how did his career panout? Mind u, Babatunde is not an AM but was deployed in that position during the world cup after the midfield combination of mikel, onazi and Azeez didn't gel after the first match against Iran. Due to the lack of attacking midfielders in the team keshi gambled on Babatunde in the next match against Bosnia which he did fairly well and till date is his best outting in the super eagles colors TheGoodJoe: |

charlesemeka85:Don't be stupid. I said he has done nothing new with the team, and you're asking me to go resurrect the dead to come back to coach the team, does that make any sense to you?? Did you see me make a case for any local coach to be hired? If you think Rohr is the best we can get, then that very much tells me how much mediocrity you appreciate on a personal level. |

charlesemeka85:When Aluko was at Rangers, Keshi chose to put fate in Mba and he delivered in a big way. You brought up Rangers. I explained why. No you are twisting the plot points. As for Babatunde. If Aluko had gone instead of Michael, he would not have started the first leg. If he got a chance, it would have been the same chance Babatunde got. When Babatunde got the chance, he was absolutely brilliant. I was one of those on the Aluko cheering team but agreed Keshi was right in the call for Michael Babatunde. |

Velverde is not a good coach because he has the luxury of having Messi in his team? Well that means Enrique and Guardiola are not good coaches as well. The Turkish team is on a rebuilding process which consist of young and hungry unknown players but is that enough excuse for a whole world champions France to lose to them by 2 goals to nil? A French team that boast of pogba, varane, mbape, greizmann, Kante just to mention a few? Visit Google to make the findings by yourself if Madagascar wasn't the first team to qualify to the just concluded afcon even with a match to spare. If I'm wrong I will from this day believe anything you put out here without argument or disagreement benji93: |

charlesemeka85:Drab display that make the boys get dominated by teams like Madagascar and Burundi. Nonsense!! Until he wins the AFCON, qualify us for the round of 16 at the WC, he'd have just equaled the best record of his predecessors. Keshi selected the players he thought were best for the team and they delivered, let Rohr do thesame and deliver, else we're just wasting money on someone who's offering nothing different from what we can get locally. |

Which MBA? During the afcon qualifiers and preparatory games keshi used Nosa igiebor mainly as the teams number 10. MBA was a bench player even to the afcon proper. He got his chance after igiebor flopped during the group stages of the afcon. MBA is not an atm but a striker who also strives well as a SS but keshi used him in the position during the competition TheGoodJoe: |
