omenka:No constitution is actually not written, but it is a technical term use to describe a constitution which you can't find in one document or book. It is scattered into different documents, scripts, books etc. The written constitution just like Nigeria's is the constitution or laws of a nation that is in one document or book. |

omenka: That's the cradle of democracy and yes they observe unwritten constitution ( that's not to say stuff are not written down somewhere). They operate a parliamentary system of government and they pass bills all the time and make amendments. They debate a lot on whatever bill and these bills equally pass through the House of Lords for ratifications. The fundamental rule of law is well ingrained in the fabric of governance and the society, upholding individual liberty and defending human rights. Back to Nigeria where the constitution is written on paper for all to read, we're yet to grab the concept or efficacy. 3 Likes 1 Share |

omenka:Yes,a country can function very well without a written constitution.Basically, dere r two types of constitutions: written n unwritten. So many countries such as Britain operates unwritten constitution. But let me tro a little light on de concept of unwritten constitution.De term unwritten constitution doesn't mean dat de wordings of de laws r not written down at all.It simply means dat various segment of de laws such as de magnacarta charter of 1912 in Britain are not codified in a single document. Not as if dia laws r not written down at all.Just dat dey r not found in a single document. |

Kamanuozuzu: Don't mind the shameless liar. Southeast governors were the first to proscribe IPOB. Federal Government proscription came three days after. It would have served Umahi well to guard his tongue. I keep telling whoever cares to listen that things are changing at break neck speed. Unfortunately some people imagine nothing has changed. Umahi would do well not to provoke the people of the East. IPOB is just about every sensible person in the territory of Biafra. At the right time and place, Umahi will definitely eat these words spoken so recklessly out of order. 1 Like |
