You cannot really blame him for saying that. Let us be truthful, we have given the whole world the impression that an average Nigerian is a bad influence with our attitudes of drugs trafficking and online frauds. We must change from our bad and wicked characters if we want the world to respect us. See what just happened in US, 80 Nigerians have given us bad name. Go to Guinea Bissau, Gambia and Senegal, so many yahoo yahoo boys from Nigeria......Enough is enough.

MTN South Africa and affiliates still own 90% of the shares in Nigeria

You can go through their website yourself

The highest share a Nigerian investor have in MTN Nigeria is 1.7%
Share is different from franchise oga... shares just mean MTN is publicly traded and probably finance their capital operations through shareholder funds. On the retail side they franchise

Why do this reprobates brazzenly admit the attacks and The nigerian police is killing protesters here. If they deal on drugs, what is the job of the SA police, arrest them and deport them. The waive of attacks affects the innocent ones doing legitimate businesses there. Can i rightly say the looting have a connection with poverty and want to feed off the loots of the foreigners attacked. Nigeria should strongly push for compensations for the innocent ones affected.

I am only saying the truth bro

Even if you expell all Nigerians from your country,

It won't stop the ita boys from robbing the next victim on busy street of Johannesburg and Pretoria

It won't stop the Indian Mafia in Chatsworth in Durban from drug and human trafficking

It won't stop gang violence in the cape flats in Capetown

We need to tell ourselves the bitter truth bruv.

We are all Africans and we tend to hypocritical.

While we can't deny the fact that some Nigerians are involved in criminal activities in South Africa, it's unfair to encourage tugs to target all Nigerians by magnifying the role of Nigerians in the criminal activities in Southafrica.
My Brother, The Problem here is : " When you're outside your Country, You're going to need your fellow Nigerians, In most case you're going to be surrounded by your People, If one of you causes Problem, Mob justice will attack you all ,This is What is going on here, You are all guilty According to Mob Justice, because of one or two people, Which is Sad

The same Ghana where they label all their criminal Nigerians or another Ghana?

I don't mind anywhere except south Africa.
I don't like their culture and way of life.

What is happening to them is the aftermath of apartheid.
Also, the fact that foreigners corrupt their institutions with fat envelope to run the hood is another problem.
The whites are still running things underground. They lack self esteem a lot and can't attack their masters so they attack those they felt they can reach out to.

Their system is not just ok till lots of awareness has been created for them to integrate among others.

U understand they hardly travel. Not that they don't want but they are not really exposed like the rest of us. They are very very aggressive in nature. Watch their films. I equate them to folks from the northern part of Nigeria that small thing triggers them to fight. Why, bc they are treated as inferior and have no self confidence. So violence is the only way the express themselves even if its to the wrong people

Bro I give up on you

Shares are not always publicly traded sir.

MTN only sold some shares on the stock exchange in Nigeria earlier this year.

You are confusing yourself because MTN needs to have infrastructure on ground to operate, hence they can't be franchised as such.

Like I said earlier, they might outsource certain responsibilities to other companies to help them operate customer care service and maybe sales of airtime / simcard etc.

But they are not franchising anything.

They still have head offices in the 36 states of the federation.

No, it is not true

If one person is involved in a criminal activity, he or she should be arrested and tried In competent court of law.

However, your police and justice system is just as corrupt as all African countries and we understand that.

Hence, criminals are given a free hand in your country.

However, government officials and average South Africans shouldn't blame their inadequacies on a group of people who are simply trying to make a living for themselves.

The lazy dunderhead mofos back home will defend their fellow drug addicts. Oga Minister, please identify the culprits, punish them severely and deport their stup!d a$$ back home. NDLEA should pick them up at the airport.

This is the best thing to do, that's why i have been saying that SA government is not doing or not willing to do their job.

If you say majority of Nigerians in SA are into drugs, why can't they arrest this people and deport them instead of allowing their citizens to always take laws into their hand?

Any Nigerian who violate the laws of the country where they reside should be handed over to the judiciary and tried according to the laws of those countries. But not for people to swoop on defenceless Nigerians and accuse them of a crime they cannot substantiate and then kill them in cold blood. This lady just displayed her stupidity in the full glare of the whole world.

Bro I get annoyed when I see this

Do you think South Africans accept the truth by blaming Nigerians for all vices in their country?

We tend to accept negative stereotypes in Nigeria a lot because we wired to think that Nigeria is the worst place on earth and Nigerians are worst people that ever existed.

How can we develop our country with this type of mentality?
