May God help us in this sinful generation.

When I was growing up in Lagos, only Religious and very moral ladies were wearing Hijabs. The same applied to most Southern States (in the North, Hijab is just a dress code and didn't conate any strict religiousity because even prostitutes in the North also wear Hijabs).

However now, everybody regardless of morality waer hijabs such that there is no difference between hijab sisters and non-hijab sisters.

Guys, including bad guys and non-muslims chase Hijab sisters and these sisters seem not bothered about this trend.

Many Hijab wearing sisters don't seems religious , some can even be seductive and the thing is fast becoming just mere dressing like wearing jeans.

My verdict: The Hijab has failed to curb Fornication and Adultery.

The Hijab should be reserved for only religious and moral sisters who are ready to be serious.

Hijabs worn by immoral people should be confiscated because they are bastardizing it.

I think you are talking about those pencil hijaab or passport hijaab(that covers the top of the shoulder)

Visit any University Campus, social media or hotels in big cities and observe carefully.

Where did you get this idea that guys will NOT chase after a lady wearing Hijab?


Wearing of Hijabs, contrary to what many Nigerians believe is not necessarily spiritual nor Islamic in origin but purely Middle Eastern culture. The practice certainly predate All Abrahamic religions.

So many Muslims in Southern Nigeria wrongly assume that wearing of Hijab will prevent guys from chasing a lady or that Hijab will prevent Zinna (Fornication)...a great fallacy.
