And I repeat, there are Igbos in APC and have the right to aspire and be given the presidential slot.
Ekweremadu's beating is currently reseting Igbo politician brains, there will be more pro-Eastern leaders in every political party than ever before in coming years.
You are just going round and round a circle, who told you that the presidency in APC has been zoned to anyone and what makes you feel it should be awarded to the Igbos? Why are you not clamouring the Igbos in APC should fight for the slot since nobody is stopping them.
I guess that since that of PDP has been zoned to the north and the Igbos have no chance there, APC now must zone it to the SE, it doesn't work that way, you must fight for it since it's open in APC unlike PDP where the Igbos have no chance already

1. Your problem is not Igbo in the APC, your real problem is the APC as a political party and even sef, we saw what did to APC candidates in the SE, we saw how you abuse them, insult and ostracize them like pleagus, you call them Hausa Fulani slaves and so on.

2. If Adeshina or any Igbo man or woman contested under the PAC today, you wont' vote for them.

Stop fooling yourself by hiding under APC because it makes no sense to demand from other people what you can not demand from yourself.

If you like, beat all the men and women in Igboland, that's none of my business, that's your problem.

You're part of the problem we have in Nigeria.... TRIBALISM

SE, SC, NC, MALE, FEMALE, TRANSGENDER etc shouldn't be our concern at the moment, what we should be yawning for is a good president, even if the person is a naturalised citizen.

we need to start reasoning and acting like sane humans

gidgiddy:

Why? Because he takes good pictures with world leaders?

How is it justifiable that another Yoruba man will be president of Nigeria when the SE, NC and NE have not produced the president of Nigeria since democracy returned in 1999?

That's the question

Both PDP and APC have not officially zoned the ticket to any zone.
It is my opinion that PDP should not hurry to zone their ticket, let them wait for APC to zone theirs before making that move. If APC zones it to the SW, then PDP should be jumping for joy.

Let APC try zoning the presidency to SW, and bear the brunt, rigging won't work this time. All loopholes are being closed right now at the election tribunal and Supreme Court. Be guided.

You are right, this is the kind of person we want as leaders, our systems may be a challenge. all policies that he brought to Ministry of Agriculture that had been tested in other countries failed to work after he left.
we have a systemic problem in Nigeria and it is in the crops of the people we have as a nation

What is Yoruba people's business with the PDP and who they nominate or don't nominate? Are they demanding anything from the PDP or even the APC?

You are the one demanding, not me or Yoruba people, face your own issue and stop dancing around with your irrelevant story.

Btw, do you mean you are not concerned about any anti-Igbo injustice because Yoruba people weren't concerned about injustice? Do you base what you do and don't do based on what Yoruba people do? You can not speak for yourself?

You follow PDP since 1999 and end up empty-handed, no presidency, no infrastructure, nothing, just empty-handed.

Don't you feel ashamed?

I see this as a primitive way of reasoning....Even if the president comes from your state, will that put food on your table......It's high time we stopped reasoning this way and vote for a credible leader come 2023 ( if we survive it till then by his grace) irrespective of tribal affiliation. This voting based on 'this is my brother' ,that is my brother'..where has it gotten us to? you know the answer.....The power to change this country for the best lies on our hands.

According to UNICEF, Eswatini has the highest HIV prevalence rate in the world. The HIV-Aids virus has killed countless Swazis and left thousands of orphans. Some 210,000 people, out of a population of 1.2 million, are estimated to be living with HIV.... so Akinwumi should avoild omoge from Eswatini oooooo..i warn

You must be joking and I think , no insult intended , you and a lot of Nigerians fall into the category of simple minds below.

Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.

The Nigerian Presidency is an idea. A very complex and complicated one at that in a highly diverse Nation of over 300 ethnic group hosting a rapacious and very, very powerful killer elite/political class meaning the President must be very brave, uncompromising and really special to birth and sustain the change Nigeria need.

You people just see a technocrat who takes good pictures with world leaders and holds hands with them Kumbaya-style and you begin touting him/her as our saviour. How many of those do we have, to even include me and you, for you lot to then narrow it down to this Adeshina? literally millions !!!! Do you lot know the credentials of some of those who have led Nigeria in the past, in different capacities, including the likes of Bankole, Sanusi Lamido, FFK, Ajimobi, Fashola, Rilwanu Lukman, Muthar, Ken Nnamani, Okonjo Iweala, Ezekwesili et al, for you to just talk as if technocratic competence is all Nigeria needs in her President?

Go and study the CV and real achievement of Adeshina to note he is not more special than Fashola, Ajimobi, Okonjo Iweala, Sanusi Lamido et al. This is just a case of Nigerians, in a social media age, getting carried away with pictures of an intelligent man who takes good 'smiley' pictures with world leaders. We have many of those.

I am sorry but I see those of you in the Adeshina camp as incredibly naive and without even the smallest knowledge about what it takes to lead Nigeria today. They will chew Adeshina up and spit him out in 2 months if you guys got your way and he became President today.

You guys don't know your nation and you don't work with reality. Keep dreaming.

Because you know it would be zoned to the north in that scenario, I'm sure you don't want the SE to have it, you're doing all of this to spite the Yorubas and nothing more.
You better start fighting for your position in PDP instead of waiting for others to go before you, dont allow the decision of others determine yours and when you start to decide, it might be late by then.

I can see that that persecution complex is disturbing you, better go see a doctor before it gets out of hand, you've been educated enough to know that nobody is stopping anybody yet you count it as hate because it won't be zoned to the SE then later you all rush to PDP and vote for a northerner
