What did you do before it got to that, because I can see the bootloader is unlocked.

Did you buy a Chinese version with Global ROM?

Hey guys. i need help. So ive got a redmi note 7. i got an update which i downloaded but while the update was installing it was taking so long so i restarted the phone. i know very stupid decision but thats how it went down. So afterwards the phone refused to come on and started showing "This system has been destroyed" when i try to boot it up. Now i tried to unlock bootloader but another problem has arisen where mi unlock says my current mi account isnt bound to the device. Im just tired and dont know what else to do.. Please can anybody help??

Why will you restart the phone while updating, despite the fact that you are seriously warned not to. Even if it takes half an hour to update how many percent battery will you use. Wait for others this your case is serious.

kai! You've created job for yourself o, it used to say don't restart while installing update. Actually, I don't know any way out now. I guess you will have to flash new ROM on it

I wonder o. The update should be as large as 1.7Gb and when you are using a phone for the first time it requires alot of patience. People just start panicking for no reasons. Am sure he got to a percentage and it stopped moving and he taught something was wrong not knowing it is still going and the next movement of the progress bar might be to 97-99%.

.He'll now have to spend hrs or days to get it fixed rather than just spending few minutes to complete the update process + additional data and airtime! Thank God he knows he made a wrong move!

Xtien, if you have the tools, open it up and do test point as suggested by acekid. You can link up with him on WhatsApp if possible for better comm.

I have gone through this forum and I observed that a lot of people know how to tweak their phone to have good battery. I am using redmi note 4x currently but I don't really like the battery drainage. I will be glad if anyone can put me through on how to get a good battery life in redmi note 4x....

I already ordered mi 9t....

I want to learn so I can enjoy the Xiaomi gang.
Thanks
Did you get the note 4x new or used? That battery drain is most likely due to an ageing battery, phone is over two years old now. There's nothing special you have to do when your Mi 9T arrives, you'll enjoy the battery.

mine even stopped at 90.4 for a very long time and the next step was completion..
it's no reason to restart cos the warning is specifically there for everyone
