it's no reason to restart cos the warning is specifically there for everyone

Exactly. If you are tensed drop the phone and occupy yourself with something else.

If you can boot into Fastboot mode just download a copy of the stock firmware and flash with a PC

Gptech:

Did you get the note 4x new or used? That battery drain is most likely due to an ageing battery, phone is over two years old now. There's nothing special you have to do when your Mi 9T arrives, you'll enjoy the battery.

My Redmi note 4x is about 2 years old....

I just ordered the mi 9t... I hope the battery is awesome..

Thanks bro

My Redmi note 4x don't play music via the main speaker, it plays via the mouth piece. I just connected my Sony Bluetooth speaker to the phone and it was playing via mouthpiece and the speaker didn't play. It's strange.. any help

Its not good to create such a toxic environment.

His phone, his money and his business

I keep telling peeps that if you are not A Very Good Gadget freak then RN7 is not for you. I absolutely love the Design and The intricasies of the RN7.

But to those who have dont have the mind to patiently develop their device. Then RN7 is not for them.

It is important to note that at one time or the other MOST PEOPLE WOULD HAVE BEEN TEMPTED TO HAVE END THE UPDATE. Because coming from phones like Iphone , Samsung even Tecno and Infinix. These phones require no update before you can use them. You can as well do without updating them( transission).
An update of close to 2gig taking close to an hour will surely get an Old Person Scared and a Young Person who has no knowledge of Gadgets petrified.

A moniker asked how a problem can be fixed acknowledging how stupid it was, but most comment coming in kept rubbing it on his face like "mistake" is the "almighty evil". Only but a few persons exercised maturity. What is required is an "how to solve" and not "why did you*. You either read comment, laugh and pass or suggest a solution. Please we should be guided, so that in such situations in life when an advise or a solution to a problem is required, you give advice and not insults and /or questions.
Kindly don't quote has I'm about having dinner and won't want to choke on it. Thanks

@Xtein I do hope you find a fix to your problem as suggested by nani667 or check acekid post.

This typical New age bullshiiit crap.

My dad currently use Redmi Note 7 with Chinese ROM. He figured out how to install GAPPs by himself by a simple Google search. Even when his playstore misbehaves he sort it out himself. He has updated his phone severally without issues So using a Redmi Note 7 or any Xiaomi device is not Rocket science.

Even you wouldn't dare restart your phone while your phone is doing a firmware upgrade. So how you shifted the blame to Xiaomi is what baffles me.

No one will or is forcing you to use any xiaomi device be it Phone, or accessories.

Be guided when making statements

Above my love for Samsung Devices is my Love for Good phones. I will pick a Huawei P30pro over a S10 any day. That air cleared let me move on.

I can quote atleast 3 users of the RN7 comments on this thread of recent. They complained of the RN7 being too complex for them. In ones word he said

"If i had known i would have bought.....This device is for techy people"

Its preference and not a bad a thing. It doesn't remove the fact that the RN7 is a good device. Just the same way people prefer Stock android......

I just felt that i should Correct the use of insults on the person complaining. One love y'all...

The update information reads "Dont unplug"

But it is totally possible for nepa to take light during that time. Or power to be disconnected unknowingly

And it will restart the updating process

Never has it never read the decoder has been destroyed.

And in my years of scouring the phone thread i have never come across such complaint.

I hope he finds a permanent solution to this problem. Everyone is prone to make mistakes.

Such a Beautiful phone and most likely brand new too. I wonder what he must be feeling now. I will advice him to take it to a very competent phone Repairer.
