For the past few months, I do wake up to my hotspot being used..like the phone automatically on my data and uses the hotspot.

I don't just know, it's driving me crazy.

Some time, I wake up to as high as 1gig used.

See the stat and for real I've never switched my Hotspot for everybody and it's even passworded.

From my understanding, according to the above post, everything about the Redmi note 7 is trashy, don't go near it, peeps in the Xiaomi thread know this, but cover it up, time to sleep .

Guy it's very clear someone very close to you is making use of ur data while sleeping since data and hotspot can be switched on without unlocking ur device. Change ur hotspot password and also unlock password cos if the person can unlock ur phone, he or she can equally go to Settings and see ur new hotspot password. Do this and observe the outcome
