I’m an F1 student currently studying in the state but will like to come home for December/January break.
The issue is my F1 visa got expired last year November and I’m yet to renew it, I have all my documents ready and my I-20 is still valid till 2021.
Some issues to keep in mind:
1) I had a surgery last year October which was fully paid for by some charity organization at the hospital.
2) In my initial I-20, I was given full assistantship with stipend for my first year but due to budget cut I now have half assistantship with no stipend.

Is it advisable to come back home?

Not advisable if you have no 1 potentially causing an issue. Might be best to complete your course first

Im sorry i. Didnt get back to yall about how my interview went, i been downhearted, sad,
kinda depressed after i was refused. I felt pained, i was only asked a few question, not more than three. Imma be honest, i was a bit nervous, just a bit. He asked my to pass i20, then he asked where my school was and what other schools i applied in, i. Mentioned atlantis and he asked me where atlantis is thats he's never heard of any atlantis in USA bfre ( bitch please, are you tryna test me? Am i a joke to you) it slipped my. Mind so i went mute fir a while, he then asked another question.. I swear its really difficult typing this right here rn. Smh. He asked who my sponsor was(my auncle) and what he does, i was explaing wbat he does bfre he gava me the news that im refused.. I asked why, he said its in thr pink letter (goddamn, that shit has been printed even before i booked an appointment) i just collected it and left, but i wanted to cry out, i did in my mind tho. I felt so weakkk.. � � thinking back it kinda seemed like he wasnt planning to give me from the start, that what i think.

He probably right about not hearing the school, as a Vo that is his job, and there are so many schools in the US .... went to atlantis wikipedia and it doesn't even state when the school was formed or how many students. It most likely a one man school hence why the Vo doesn't know it .....Westcliff University doesn't even seem to be a standard school either. No wiki page at the minimum to tell you about the school

To get Visa is not easy , never been... so best to pick standard schools and take test. .

You were definitely denied long before you stepped foot on the embassy soil.

When I saw Atlantis, the first thing that came to my mind is some far away alien planet. I decided to Google further as I have heard that name from a movie before. Atlantis was depicted as an aquatic civilization in the comic movie, Aquaman.

There are over a thousand schools out there in the US, d VO is surely not lieing if he/she claims not to know certain schools.

Change the school.

- I completed my Bsc. (Bachelors in accounting) in an english uni in Malaysia (I stayed there for 4 years and returned when I was supposed to. No overstays).
- My cgpa is 2.9. Malaysia uses the 4.0 grading system.
- I am preparing to write GMAT (Do I need Toefl?)
- I am 28

Please, house, what do you think my chances of scoring the visa is? Is there anything I should keep in mind?

Hi everyone, sorry have not been active here again like before, study here is very demanding, you don't have time other things when lectures starts.

Assignment plus plus assignment plus grading duties plus tutoring plus your own class and study leaves you almost with no time to waste, but its worth the stress believe me.
Don't give up, if you gonna study for Mathematics, Sociology or Political Science, then check Texas tech University, they have funding for those courses, confirm.

For my Mathematics masters hopeful, don't remove Texas tech, they will admit more students for coming fall, that's an expo I'm giving you, but you need at least 310 GRE to get in, confirm funding.

Good Day Everyone. WES updated my profile few days back and it's ONLY my Waec Scratch Card that was updated, the Waec Result is still yet to be updated and there's no any pending update on my profile currently after day 3.

I've reach Waec through the Courier (DHL) i used. In her words, "there's no way Waec will give us just the Waec Scratch Card to send, because they're (Results and Scratch Card) are always in the envelop together, and they do send the envelop sealed to WES directly as they receive it"

I've reach WES via the 'Contact US' on my profile and Via Twitter DM. No response yet.

My Question is that HAS ANYONE HERE face same issue before?? Pls what should i do next?

Start by researching for schools that suits your qualifications. Most schools do state their application processes on their websites, follow those steps, also, don't forget to write a suiting statement of purpose (SOP); it will aid funding.

Regarding if you need Toefl ....... Best to check the school website . Each school is different so its based on what the school requires for admission. Also check if its GMAT or GRE you need for your targeted school and program

Had interviews Last week, but was placed on AP. Is anyone trusting God for it and theirs to be ISSUED before this week runs out? My transcript is both funny and educative, will share on thanksgiving day. �
