Some people apparently think we are still in the 70s' where countries can nationalize and seize private companies at whim without extremely dire consequences. Apart from the fact that the suggestion is downright ridiculous and simply not proportional to the magnitude of the event at hand, it is also not practical.

Emotions without common sense can be destructive. Prior to making these sort of contributions, one has to be of sound mental health.

For academic purpose, there are better ways of frustrating a company out of business(through tax hikes, license withdrawal and inhibitive regulations).

For academic purpose ni, you should first finish primary school as evidently u continue to show proof u're just a kid excited with data daddy paid for.

Listen here someone older should tell u that in the old days Nigeria had actually nationalized European assets because of this same South Africa for which in my time money was deducted from our pay to finance the ANC that today spits in our face but apparently u never heard of BP but how can u when you were just born yesterday. Shut ur trap kid. You shouldn't be talking when I'm talking. And what were the consequences. And why would any sane person not to talk of even a secondary school kid who did O'level Commerce want to strangle a profitable company on it's own soil which is not abroad to death when it can easily do a takeover for the benefit of it's own citizens. Haba this kid. Everything postulated up there is an hypothetical option to unfolding events in the Rainbow nation that will never change unless a serious leader here does something to make them see the light.

Even a serious simple threat of nationalization without having to do it will make Pretoria wake up and yes Nigeria has more than enough forces to fight two large conventional wars at once. Right now predominantly the 7th division and auxiliary armoured elements are engaged in the North-East in a theater scale of combat operations. The 1st mechanized division hasn't even been called into the fray nor the 82nd Combined Arms Divisions etc. That's just speaking of the Army. The internal threats we have faced and still face but contained would have swallowed any other African country other than Nigeria. Just because your Buhari is inept doesn't change the dynamic of Nigeria's greatness. You have no clue of the military nor the economy that goes with it so just zip it and learn from those who know it. In this case Naija holds the cards.

Dey run from my mention cos I'll school u to sense.

Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Sizzorkay:
Idea of seizing a foreign company's assets in Nigeria isn't a smart idea, these companies weren't owned by SA govt, unless I"m wrong, the moment we do that, Nigeria will no longer be a place investors want to go, and don't forget Nigeria can be sued if we take such step, and if a decision goes against us, whatever money we have overseas can be seized.
Regardless, there is nothing SA govt can do about this, laws are there that says we should't jaywalk or kill, that doesn't stop people from killing or jaywalking, and like Nigeria where we've had Christians murdered in the North for eating while Muslims were fasting, should we hold the Nigerian govt accountable for that? This is just an example, there are many more
Point is, if something is gonna boil over, it will. How on earth are we flexing muscle against SA when our own citizens right there in Nigeria are being killed daily like Chicken. Might wanna fix your own shortcomings before flexing the muscle you don't have.
We can't bark and call something unacceptable, when worse things are happening to those same Nigerians right there in Nigeria and i don't see Nigerians protest these killings or armed robberies, but na SA we want to threaten? funny grin

Such stupid question!

No nah rocket science we take deploy humanitarian assistance to Zimbabwe your next door neighbor or na rocket science we take deploy combat and peacekeeping troops to Gambia, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Guinea Bisssu, Congo, North-East Nigeria etc.

And I'm being realistic in not calling for all out break up of diplomatic relations or an invasion but rather some form of civil and military diplomacy. Wake up!
How?? Is what I asked....... You literally don't have the logistic capability to get a worth while number of troops down here and then sustain those troops.

Laughable but sry to bust your bubble evidence abounds to prove Nigeria's ability to project power beyond its shores and sustain division size forces in distant lands. So not again to deny reality. No one is calling for an invasion but when necessary what needs to be done will be done by the Nigerian Armed Forces.

Fani Kayode is an uncouth lunat!c, I will advice you to delete that biliously hateful article and prevent unnecessary provocation. It was people like FFK that made the past administration fail woefully in government, a man good at nothing else than concocting putrid articles, making slanderous statements and laying gaseous accusations.

This issue has been well attended on this thread, and I don't think here is the place to further stoke emotions over an insignificant issue.

Says your xenophobic mindset that hates the thought of Nigeria's ability to rise to the occasion whenever called upon as it has done in times past again and again. Which Algeria? The one that has never fought outside its borders and never will. Algeria's military procurements and doctrine is focused on a war with Morocco. Egypt is focused on Israel it can't defeat but only procures by free largesse given by client states as deterrence and no more. In a war Arabs will do what they do best: lose. So save your breath. Nigeria on the other hand despite Biafra, Isaac Adaka Boro, Chad, Maitetsine, Tompolo & MEND - Camp 5, Boko Haram, ISWAP, Fulani Herdsmen, Tribalists, Militias, Corruption, domestic enemies, foreign enemies etc has projected tens of thousands of troops to Congo, Sudan, Somalia, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau, The Gambia, Ivory Coast, Apartheid South Africa, Angola, Chad, Sao Tome, Cameroon - Bakassi Peninsula and the list goes on and on to nip in the bud uprisings, rebellions, wars, keep the peace, give political stability and in the process sacrificed blood and limb and treasure in billions of dollars of its own money and some of its finest young men and women not to claim land or resources but to give freedom to fellow Africans like you who would have still been told not to enter a bus with a white man today. Some of us are privy to your true capabilities so I'd just say should push come to shove let me see how those few healthy soldiers you have are gonna stop Nigerian Armour rolling down Johannesburg. Wait till the shooting starts. For now think of how you can change mindset. I actually pity you. Xenophobia never gives up until its burnt. Egypt and Algeria ke no bi today. What of CAR, Bangui.

Bruh, how do you intend to land troops on south Africa borders? Nigeria has limited land vessels, limited human and logistics transport planes...

The only way we could land troops (minimum kills) is if we've capture a port in south africa, but wait. Waytin we wan use lay siege on south Africa waters?. See ehh bruh I'd say namibia, since the share land borders, but em go gree may we use their military facilities against their neighbor
?

See ehh,war against south Africa is never happening, except we ready to force either zimbabwe or namibia to lend us their country borders,or we just join em for the war, grin lol... But fr you too reason m
