Buhari had a better case, and the same applies to Buhari then; why do they always have the believe that they can't loose.

While I don't care for either Buhari or Atiku, it is worrisome to note that even without a certificate, one can become president.

Politics is a dirty game and all, fine, but this sends a wrong message across the board, to all Nigerians.

What people who are focused on the Certificate fail to realize is that, the constitution stated clearly that one need “a secondary school certificate or it’s equivalent.

With PMB trainings and educations within the military, any unbiased reviewer of the records would conclude that, he must have attained the the equivalency of a secondary school education.

Without certificate, he wouldn't have achieved all that in the military. Either way, it is silly to think Buhari doesn't have a certificate.

Bros, don't be too worried. Everyone is trying to run to US and Canada, but guess what, you don't even need a Primary School certificate to be the US President or Canada PM. All you need is to be a freeborn citizen!

So don't knock yourself thinking too much. Politics has its own qualifications and the employers are ordinary people of the country. Most will love you and vote for you for different reasons, only a few think of your certificate.

Atiku can argue that he has a better case and, unless we want to decieve ourselves, he has a strong case. The many evidences still embarasses us with their presence in online spaces today. I'm not in the business of decieving myself (I actually think it is quite callous, if I am honest) hence if Atiku wants to get to the Supreme Court, he should.

Of course we know if there's a court higher than the supreme court, this verdict will still be challenged there. Best of luck though

That's what I have been trying to tell them, this case is identical to Buhari’s case in 2011 with identical judgement.
The supreme Court judgment too will be the same, afterall the judges are the same except a couple of supreme Court justices that have retired.

Presidential polls: Tribunal confirms Jonathan’s victory

ABUJA—Respite came the way of President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday, as the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja, in a unanimous judgment , upheld results of the April 16 presidential election that brought him into power.

A five-man panel of justices that presided over a petition that was lodged before the tribunal by the opposition Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, yesterday, said they were satisfied that President Jonathan and his Vice, Namadi Sambo, won the presidential election and were duly returned by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in accordance with both the Electoral Act and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Delivering the lead judgment yesterday, chairman of the tribunal, Justice Kumai Bayaang Akaahs, held that the petitioner failed to substantiate its allegation that the presidential poll was fraught with manifest irregularities that substantially affected the result of the election.

Relying on sections 131, 132, 134, 159(1) of the Evidence Act and Supreme Court decided case law in Buhari vs. Obasanjo, Justice Akaahs maintained that the petitioner did not discharge the burden of proof, stressing that all the witness depositions and evidences adduced before the court by CPC, amounted to hearsay.

The tribunal equally discountenanced oral testimonies of 46 witnesses of the CPC who had alleged that President Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, connived with corrupt electoral officials and rigged election in 22 states of the federation.

Though the court noted that the allegation was criminal in nature, it however dismissed it on grounds that it was not supported by empirical evidence.

Thank God supreme court is the last place of arbitration, if not Atiku's lawyers are ready to take this matter to all the courts in the entire galaxy even when Atiku passes on as long as the money is still flowing.

How certain are you buhari doesn't have a certificate.
You could have gone to atiku or any PDP secretary around you, tender your evidence and you would have been richly blessed.
Be factual....

When a lawyer is misbehaving, the Judge or Judges have unreserved right to make input in any matter.

The court relies ONLY on what is placed before it.
