S9+ is just one model removed and is a decent phone. As big as note 8 and using newer hardware

If you're a note person, just go for note 9. As you would have seen, lots of used ones out in the market and price is dropping very fast. It's better than both note 8 and s9

If your consideration is the cost, I would expect both note 8 and s9+ to be in the same price bracket so go for the s9+ for the reasons stated above

that's not a claim...its real...A12 bionic is still faster than all androids from 845, to 855+ to kirin 990....A13 bionic is twice as fast as A12 bionic...do the math

Wait for Asus ROG Phone 2 vs iPhone 11 speed test and Benchmarks comparison...

Asus ROG2 runs on 855+....it doesn't stand a chance....its about the same performance as the note 10 except the screen is 90hz refresh rate compared to note 10 that's only 60hz and its specifically tuned for game performance

I still got a good deal on my Note 8 though ....... I still have an Umidigi One max with 128gb, Umidigi A5 Pro with 32gb, Samsung S10 + with 128gb......... So i am fully covered......

Not forgetting my massive cloud storage on all popular cloud service providers.........
