do not give more than you can afford to loss. I learned this the hard way back in NYSC. Since, the only person I have ever tried give more than 100k is a friend who deserve it. Aside that, the highest you can get from me is 10k-20k

I would never in my life time lend any one money rather I will outrightly dash the person the little I can because from the conspectus of my experience, no one seems to return money lend. The very recent one is a friend whom I borrow 10k sometime last month, right now I'm even tired of calling him for the money.

This has always been my rule, if Iend you and you don't pay back don't even bother to come next time even if you're dying.

Nothing wrong with borrowing money bt when it becomes a habit or for too repeated u probably need to check spending habit and money management. I personally have no problem with it aslong as u pay back. 95% of gals don’t payback and mix it up with feelings, only 50% or less of guy pays back promptly. Personally when I’m owing money I can’t sleep till I pay up as early as possible. I’m constantly moody and uncomfortable especially when it’s a bailout loan. Funny thing Here is I’ve given out more amounts than I’ve borrowed.

It’s not like that with humans generally it’s a typical Nigerian behavior. Greed and covetousness. The moment you try to help them, they think you probably have a lot in the bank meanwhile you are just trying to share in their pain .

One of the best investment decisions one can make early in life is to pay back loans timely. Even if you're late in payment or unable to pay but show sufficient worry about it, you will be seen as credit worthy.

Even the poorest man in the world if consistent in paying back debt will find someone who'll lend him a million simply because of discipline.

Unfortunately, many don't see how damaging it is to their financial health of having high poor level of non- repayment of loans

I have this friend who was has this habit of never paying back loans. To get money from me, he has to go through the wife as he knows I'll never lend him. He has 150k which he wants to use for food business. He just needs an extra 50k to start but there's no one he can meet as no one's ready to lend him money.

There is nothing wrong in lending money to a friend

The only place I have issue with that is, if you don't return the money back, don't come back for another one, very simple

I was with someone I lent 30k last year. Dude has even forgotten he's owing me. And he was busy buying jumbo pizza.

I know you want to be nice and all, but if someone want to borrow from you, make sure the reason is genuine and set a repayment plan immediately.

It is highly irresponsible to borrow money and not return it....very irresponsible

I don't bother lending and thank God I haven't had any reason to borrow. Instead of lending, I dash. Dash money I can overlook.

The guy possibly collected that loan from you with the hope of winning big and repaying an earlier debt he must have owed someone else.

Are you sure? It's rather the other way round, you lend people money, they start avoiding you and that will be the end of the friendship

U should be happy that u have to lend. U should also be happy that people see u as someone who could help. Never under estimate that. I dey have dey wouldn't ask, so if u have pls Keep giving or lending as d case may be never get tired cos ur good works will surely be rewarded
