Lions cannot attack you if you don't run.

Also lions can only catch you from your back.


So even if you come across an hungry lion and you face it(ie you don't turn your back to the lion) and you don't run,it cannot eat you.


Lions only adapt to eating any animal that runs and turns it's back to lions
