As in ehh. There's this elastic/spongy feeling puffpuff has in its inside. Same as doughnut. I wanna believe it's the yeast that gives both, that texture plus it helps them rise. Puff puff without yeast should be buns na(with baking soda ofcourse).

You can use Self-rising flour, Beer or Baking powder

200g margarine , half cup of sugar, milk flavour , 6eggs, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 1/2 cup of flour. Cream your margarine and sugar, add eggs afterwards then fold in your flour and bake. That's all
