Hopefully APC will swallow it’s pride and return Okonjo Iweala as the finance minister once again. Evidently Buhari’s first term economic team did not know what it was doing. Everywhere abokis with recession laden ideas and dead on arrival economic policies.
We need people in this country who know what it is to develop the economic potentials of this country. Obasanjo/Atiku without prejudice put together the greatest economic team this country has ever witnessed. Obasanjo had the political will to execute the policies put in place. He raised Ribadu, Sanusi and produced madam Nafdac. Even though he is termed a very wicked man, El Rufai made the FCT what it is today. All of them PDP people. Hopefully nepotism will be put aside and this president can without fear or favour summon some political will to execute growth policies.

Hopefully also one day Dr. Pat Utomi can be called upon to join the economic team and make this nation great again. I believe in Nigeria and I believe that Nigeria will rise again.

My friend from Anambra said that Soludo should decline the offer and focus on his governorship ambition under APGA.

He has been pencilled down to take over from Obiano.

Accepting this offer will see him as a member of APC, and it would be difficult for him to seek for APGA ticket again neither will APC give him ticket.
