[b] When we celebrate our rise up the FIFA rankings….enemies of progress
question the rationale behind it. This
is one of the benefits…Big teams will
always wanna play you.

We didnt ask for the Ukraine friendly,
the Ukrainian FA looked for us….and
what a run did we give the most in-
form team in world football at the
moment. They themselves know they
were just lucky to escape without a
home defeat against our young team
with an average age of 22.5 years
last week.

Now it is almighty Brazil that wants
to play us and Senegal, irrespective
of the fact that the two nations
didn’t win the AFCON, the world still
recognizes that these 2 are the best
teams in Africa at the moment. FYI,
Brazil doesn’t extend friendly
invitations to any jack and
harry…..they do so to the best in the
various continents. Its a matter of
policy. If you wanna play them, fine,
send your letter to their FA and get
ready to part with $1m to start with.
So to be invited by Brazil to be a part
of their global tour is quite interesting
and fantastic, and boy, i’m already
looking forward to that game.

Already, our draw against Ukraine
“should” be enough to push us into
the top 30 zone on the fifa rankings.
Another favorable result against
Brazil and likely wins against Benin
and Lesotho in the ANQ in November
should seal our position in that club…
and by January, Nigerian players
wouldn’t need more than 50-60%
national team appearances to be
eligible for a work permit in the EPL.

my only fear is that rohr does not end up making useless changes in the name of giving some players game time.

We should play our best legs, defeating Brazil will send good message to the world of what we are capable of.

Southgate is asking questions about Tomori Fikayo. NFF should cap this guy abeg. We will also need Eberechi Eze, Kingsley Ehizibue, Felix Udokhkai, Ademola Lookman, Seyi Ojo as soon as possible for Brazil friendly.

I want Tyronne Ebuehi back quickly. We are a killer squad with these new guys.

One more thing. Please lets forget Tammy Abraham. He will rust and roast on England bench. Southgate's plan is to cap tie him with EURO qualifiers then keep him permanently on bench. Let him go joor. We have tried.

grin this thing don dey pass obsession o, you and goodjoe I don't know who dey obsessed pass about the love of their lives

The first thing l am highlighting is the competitive nature of the English league. And the competitive nature of the Championship.

Moses Odubanjo is finding his way back to his previous form after near two years of injury, that's not easy at all.

Unlike TheGoodJoe and his love for KC which is not based on objective current performances.

So where is the similarity?

I don't think that Dominic Iorfa is one of the best defenders in Europe. Or use statistics to misrepresent the objective deduction.

Infact my view check past posts is that he is not technically astute. But in terms of physicallity speed and strength then he is on par or exceeds our defenders in the CB role. However, you can have these attributes and not be a good defender.

The only possible top CB defender we may have currently now is Fikayo Tomori the rest are all average including Dominic Iorfa. Who is better among these our defenders is open to never ending debate.

Dominic Iorfa is playing his preferred position under Monk. So let's see how far he will progress the season is young.

I say this from watching Fikayo Tomori up close and personal playing RB two seasons ago he was at best adequate. Now one season at Derby and everything had changed he is now benching seasoned pros.

Before the season started the prejudiced gang declared that Tega, Fikayo would be permanent bench warmers. Well they have all gone quite now.

If we can get back up in every position, replacing players shouldn't be a problem for Rohr

And talking abt beating Brazil, I will be so happy, d kind of confidence it will give our boys sef go badt

Nigeria likely to play two friendlies in October if....

The second friendly is gonna be with an African side..

“We are happy to have sealed this encounter with Brazil, the five-time champions of the world. It is not everyday that you get to play Brazil, and I think it is very good for our young team.
“The Nigeria Football Federation must also commend Eurodata Sport, our FIFA–licensed Match Agent, for pulling this off. Having said that, the focus now is on getting an African team for the Super Eagles as a second match for the FIFA window in October, ahead of their 2021 AFCON qualifying matches in November,”
NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said.

The Super Eagles have two 2021 AFCON qualifying dates in November. After hosting the Squirrels of Benin Republic on 14th November, they will fly to Maseru for a Day Two encounter with the Crocodiles of Lesotho on 19th November.

Of course but would you rather play Brasil or Malawi? Malawi would help us prepare for Lesotho but Brasil will make us more visible and also line our pockets.
