The redmi note 8 pro is better o, but not obviously because of the mtk SOC. The mi9t is however more battery efficient it seems, so ignore the larger battery. But raw performance and camera quality goes to the rn8 pro.

Camera quality is subjective. The Mi 9T has a Telephoto lens, the Redmi Note 8 Pro doesn't.

Raw performance without efficiency in this age is a minus.

I noticed that anytime my phone is less than 80% before I go to sleep it will drain the battery overnight.
I'm interested in the solution to this. That Android system zapping is troubling.

This G90t is efficient in the rn8 pro especially after the update. The only issue is the battery inefficiency makes it on par with the 4000mah rn7.

There's The Chinese And Indian Variant Called Redmi K20, Lacks A Few 4G Network Bands And A Chinese Rom(Which Can Be Easily Switched To Global) But That's The Only Difference. Lots Of People Here Use The Phone. If You're Interested Aliexpress Is Good, But I Recommend Macbeyland And Noobody They're Legit. If Not, The Mi 9t Pro Might Become Available In Nigeria By October.

On The battery part, the Mi 9t runs it's processing power on an 8Nm process While The Redmi Note 8 Pro's On An 11Nm process Coupled With the fact that the redmi Note 8 pro has an IPS panel and a mediatek chipset. So Technically The MI 9t should edge out the redmi Note 8 pro comfortably.500mah difference shouldn't be much as the Samsung a70 with 4500 man barely edged the MI 9t despite have an amoled screen also And less power hungry chipset.

Bottom line both are excellent higher midrangers grin Trust me you can't go wrong with them. Just pick one and join the xiaomi family!

If I was to advice you as a sister MI 9t or MI 9t pro is what you should be looking at

Thank you so much for taking your time to explain. God bless you!

Go for the Redmi 7 in terms of battery.

The RN5 have a slightly better camera though

Either manually flash your current rom if there's no pending update or do a factory reset.

The note 5 is a better device in virtually every way, plus the bigger ram really makes it even sweeter. Cameras are better too with the note 5 but.....

Since its for a lady, go with the Redmi 7, it's more pretty, trendy, and Gcam can be installed just by downloading the apk which makes the camera better than the default one of the note 5 in many cases. The Redmi note 7 actually manages ram well eventually on the 3gig ram variant plus, the Redmi 7 has a dedicated SD card slot.

I don't think that battery stat is reliable, because I have been consistently charging my phone since.

I really need this help, I can forsake my camera, music for a better battery life.

Allowing your ba3 die completely regularly kills your ba3 life,. The least your ba3 should get to is 20% . I'll advice you recalibrate your ba3 ( let it drain to zero and charge to 100% while off,) then maintain a healthy ba3 usage afterwards. plus using your phone while charging is totally not healthy, drop phone and charge it, that babe can wait grin

I can't upload pictures or videos on any site from my phone.
It keeps closing the app and re-opening it again. I've tried Opera, UC mini, Chrome, CM browser and Mozilla and it's still the same thing.
I've got about 7gb of free space in my phone.
I've tried all the tips I got online, but it's still the same.
This is my first time of using xiaomi and I've not encountered this on any of the other phones I used prior to this.
Someone said its the intensive "ram management in their Ui", but if their ram management won't let me do anything, what's the point?
Btw, I use Redmi 7.

Let me guess, it's the 2GB/16GB Variant??
