I think I owe it to posterity to state some lessons I learnt during the visa application journey

1. You don't need a visa agent to apply for visa. Just read the instructions and answer the questions.

2. For students visa, front loading both medicals and biometrics pays.

3. GTE Statement is essential. Just write the truth and from your heart. I think its important to mention how you fulfill each of the GTE areas. Attach supporting documents too.

4. If your school is not AL1 please include proof of funding in attached documents. Don't wait for it to be requested. I think it leads to delays.

5. Attach explanatory notes to some documents that might look suspicious.

6. The wait can be tiring but just believe and trust God to do his thing.

Itvis 620 aud. It shouldn't be upto 180k Naira. You can even pay with your Naira debit card if you want to.

Will getting an OSHC on my own affect my application because ahm seems to be offering me oshc at a cheaper rate compared to the one the school uses and they school accept personal oshc purchase of your choice

No bro, immigration just want you to have oshc, the OSHC you use is none of their business

congrats. Are you going for master's and did they grant you scholarship alongside the admission? Fully funded or tuition waiver?

I just got my COE. My classes resume Nov. 4 2019 @ Latrobe university. Any idea how long it will take/time line for the VISA.

I am worried I have no more time and what would happen to my COE.

Nobody can answer the time it will take for your visa to be out, just continue praying for your visa to be granted that's all and about the COE if the visa is not out before your resumption date, notify the school and they will issue you a new COE

Relax! Pay your fees and apply. Time of processing is individually based, depending on your supporting documents and God. Some decisions are made within 2weeks, Some take longer. As for Coe, if visa is not out as at when school starts and approaching census date, school will cancel ur Coe and be waiting for instruction from embassy to reopen or issue new Coe depending when visa arrives.

Amount is it Per year? Is it semester or trimester? If it is for one year, divide it by 2 for semester or 3 for trimester. That's your tuition deposit!
