TheGoodJoe:
This is where I do not get the logic of Rodgers screening Nacho out of the squad. They are a goal down against a physically sound Tottenham, who will not give them running spaces. With Ndombele, Sissoko and Winks shutting down playing spaces in the middle.

I would expect an out and out striker to come in to reduce the attention to detail on Vardy, thus creating scoring options for both up front.

Maybe go three at the back to maintain midfield stability. Let us see how it goes.
who is the out and out striker? Kelechi?

How did Vardy not score that?

I agree with you, Rose is having a wonderful game and Perez is non existent, he should take out Perez for Choudbury and Barnes for Iheanacho and go direct since Tottenham's weakness is central

But Iheanacho is not making a case for himself
Why? Nacho can not be blames if he is not given a shot.

If Nacho had been good in training, Rodgers would have no reason for putting Gray in the bench when it's clear the team needs a spare striker

Iwobi starts from the bench today for Everton in their EPL home game vs Sheffield Utd.

Chuks and Villareal secured a 2-0 win over Valladolid and are now occupying the Third position in La Liga temporarily.

We have not heard a case of Nacho not doing well in training.

The man puts rookie James Justin on the bench instead of a 25 million striker and you don't think something is amiss?

Ebere Eze starts in midfield for QPR in the English Championship vs Millwall.

On the bench for QPR is a new name and another Nigerian... 20 years old Ody Alfa... Odysseus Naphtali Alfa, a right winger who can also play on the left.

In another Championship game between Brentford and Stoke... Etebo starts as well.

I do not think so. Against Manchester City last season, Guardiola and Kompany were amazed at Tielemans quality. Tagged him a Manchester City kind of player.

James Justin is a defender. It has nothing to do with Vardy playing 90 minutes every game and Rodgers not opting for a striker pair in every game.
