Please I'm still confused. The speaking in tongues that I know is the one the Apostles did on the day of Pentecost. Where everyone could hear them in his own personal language.
Before you tell me that i must be in the spirit to understand it lemme remind you that those whom the Apostles preached to were not converts thus removing every basis for being in the spirit.

I mentioned two things, desire and give yourself to the word of God.. after that you should start manifesting the gift of the spirit, it's already in you so it's simple.

Speaking in tongues gives you strength to defeat the enemy in battle. It adds power to your prayers. The devil trembles when you start speaking in tongues. This is a personal experience.
