16% deduction or increments, was it not because of the increment they called you back, watch out they may be after your skill and would have put someone with you to train .

My honest opinion is you start looking for another job.
Now, you might ask why?

You just showed you resigned out of frustration and not because you had a future in some where better or a better option elsewhere.

Now they are gonna use you and deal with you psychologically till you start doubting your capabilities. Read about " conditioning" to fully grab my point.

If you must stay, have this at the back of your mind. So when the extra tasks and crazy demands begins to manifest, you bury yourself in it and learn from it, instead of complaining.

By doing this, you will create more value for yourself and your employer. Then you simply use the Uhuru of this value as a leverage to get noticed by competitors.

Simply put, if you must remain cos you don't have a better offer at this time, use the chit they will throw at you to build a vast amount of experience and let your experience sell you in the market place.

That will only be your saving grace.

Did you resign properly dropping a letter or verbally?

If you dropped a letter, you need a proper reappointment letter with conditions of service

You better start looking for a job. They want to be the ones to dump your asss! Trust me..

Better don't go back there to work. This time, they'll owe you for ten years. Take the one they've paid and use it to sustain yourself while you search for a better job or start a business.

If it were me, I would get a bank draft in the new amount that was paid and send to them via registered post/courier stating that they erroneously paid you whilst you had left their employ

@op please what type of employment is it? Temporary, contract or permanent? Were you given an appointment letter before you start the job at your first shot? How did you resign? Did you just walk away or tender a resignation letter? You need to answer these and some other questions before we can advise whether you should stay or not.
