Hello Sassy,
Is the embassy giving date now?

sassy92:

Pay the money oooo, once you enrol in a school you're a student, you can resume any time even up till January. The embassy will still give dates.

I didn't want to reply you but I guess for the benefit of those that are coming behind so that they won't be deceived you don't need travel insurance for your interview I state again you don't need travel insurance for your interview .
Also when we say luck I guess you also concluded that it's all about probabilities well I will allow U to enjoy the joy U got now but I repeat nobody can state specifically what they considered before they issue AM I have seen two weeks without funding I have seen 10weeks even when U go with funding .
Yes embassy has changed the rule from November but are we in November now ? Someone is asking a question for today and U are answering with future in mind anyway make una enjoy ooo
Am out

Oga sir. Which one is deceive? And which one is enjoy joy?
We are all here trying to see how best we can make do of the situation and proffer solutions on how best our chances can be improved on getting visum. If you don't know about something you don't exactly rule it out. If you get kicks of euphoria from leading ppl here that's your own thing

It's true that no one can say specifically what was factored in each interview that's why I said and keep emphasizing on everything been based on probabilities and luck. However the onus falls on you to make your own luck. smiley

Saying things like November is future reasoning and we are talking about now only makes you sound funny.
For the time being, BA is something we'll be requested for eventually whether one funds prior to interview or not. Therefore, it's only logical to factor it into the list of things to consider for probable early AM.

Pls your tone of misleading ppl here is unfounded as we are all here to help each other cos whether BA or travel insurance is funded and uploaded or not God willing ppl will continue to get early or late AM.

Cheers

Is C1 in TOEFL that easy to get? And considering the fact that I have to wait for like two weeks for the result again. Its not for enrollment, its just for my AM.

My humble suggestion, go for IELTS instead if there's time.

a quick one please, is it too early for one to send docs to uniassit? The online application is still months away though
My advice is that you wait until you apply on line before sending your docs to Uniassist

My dear, I don't know oo. But I believe that they'll still give dates, especially to those who booked with November/December as start dates
Please anyone with info about ADs should inform us.

What do you think ?
Wow, I've always thought that you can't apply for a course on Uniassist until the opening date. It's even stated clearly on the Uniassist website. Or maybe you're confusing opening date with closing date? Or are you applying for VPD?

Hello Good People,
My sister got admitted to University of Leipzig 15th July for MSc Structural Chemistry and Spectroscopy , she booked for visa appointment on the 16th July but was told they have been booked out by the embassy. Now she has deferred her admission to summer 2020 which is April 2020 resumption.
Right now we don't know what to do. I will like to know if she can make her booking on the system online. She has already opened block account with Fintba, and the university has already accepted she resumes 1st April 2020 but the new admission letter is not out till November. Please can she book for appointment or what step should she take? All contributions are very important, thank you.
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 6:04pm On Sep 23, 2019
Hi,

I congratulate your sister for the deferment. I will advise that she book as from October/November with a start date of March 31st. Hopefully she will get Appointment date for December/January.

Note that this advise is based on already deferred admission.

Cheers!

JFK7:
Good morning house,
Thanks for such a wonderful forum.

I need some urgent insightful advice about my current situation.

My wife received her German student visa last week, and is travelling this week to resume school in Berlin.
Our daughter has an American passport, (not a German visa though), and we know she has access to enter Germany without a visa for short stays up to 90 days. Also, we know that American citizens can update their visas after the 90 days inside Germany.

However, we are a bit in a dilemma right now because a friend in the UK had an experience where their baby (with an American passport) wasn't allowed into the UK with the wife (she had a study visa) on grounds that the mum was in for a long stay whereas the child had access for only a short stay.

Does this apply to Germany for a child with an American passport? How will passport control at Frankfurt treat this situation?

What insight or similar experience do we have on this please?

Advise
Enter via smaller Airports. The baby would be allowed in. The moms finger prints would be taken for the baby at point of entry. Once you get into Germany. She extends the baby's stay with 4k( it might be higher now). She should have any problem.

This should be a personal conviction. Please watch youtube on the two aspect and choose the one base on your capacity.

Good evening Bosses in the house.

A quick question please

I did my Age Declaration today but it wasn't the type where one of my parents passport had to be there to declare *whatever*
I declared myself but with all the necessary signatures and stamp.

Hope there is no problem with that?

Thanks

I don't think declaration can be sworn by self, it has to be from the head of family or maybe an older sibling.

It all depends on you. If you have good handwriting and can write fast, go for paper based.
If you have bad handwriting and can type fast, go for computer based.

Thanks very much for your advice. Does this mean that there may be some challenge at Frankfurt or Berlin airports? Do they have specific rules governing such cases?

VISUM ALERT!!!

My story is a very unique one. It's kind of long but I will try to make it as short as possible.

Getting my visa took me 292 days counting from my AD, and I can tell you it wasn't all rosy.

My first admission was for August 2018, I got the enrollment letter ending of June. I tried to secure an AD at the ebmassy but I couldn't get an early date, the best date I got was December 03, 2018 and I booked it, good enough my school was able to give me a new enrollment date for February 11, 2019.

I tried putting my documents together early enough in preparation for the AD, but unfortunately, the source of my BA funds was not forthcoming, I had to look for other alternatives.

I still could not get the funds for my BA as at the day of my interview but went for the interview in good faith.

my family member and they promised him that it will be processed the same day.

Danke schoen!!!

Woahhh... such a powerful testimony, you just gave me another reason not to give up yet, I tap into your testimony ijn.
Congratulations, go to DE amd prosper grin grin

From sept 1 you are employed to fund the new amount ..what’s written on the make transfer document given to you by your service provider,is it 8640 or 10236?,if it’s the latter fintiba won’t give you confirmation for paying the amount you just did if it’s the previous then they might send the confirmation and advice you increase the BA in your account since that’s the instruction ..I even think they should have updated their system now to the new amount officially from sept 1,so it’s either you complete your blocked account money or you go to the interview with your printed statement of account downloaded from your fintiba account

Hello everyone. Pls I need urgent answers as this is my very first time here.
My interview is 25 Sept. and I wasnt able to raise the €10,230 but I just funded the previous amount required €8,829 (confirmation not yet seen)
I will like to know if anyone has done his/her interview in September with the previous block amount asked and how long will it take to get a confirmation with the amount I just blocked.
Your replies will be very helpful.
Thanks

It is 8640 I have up till now. Anytime fintiba sends me thier friendly reminder which they still did today. It still brings the 8829

Today makes it exactly one week since I left for Germany. I am here to share some things I wish I knew before I came.

1) Learn the Language: it will help you in your every day waka, most especially for those already working in Nigeria. I heard of someone working with an insurance company in Nigeria that got to Germany, googled insurance company around and was able to get a PROFESSIONAL job(Language was still a barrier but he was lucky)

2) Don’t bother bringing rice, oil, salt. All these things are very cheap here

3) please bring earpiece, extra charger and the likes (Electronic goods) seem to be expensive over here.

4)to be very honest, Most (not all) of the Jacket you will get in Nigeria cannot do anything against the cold. I would advise you save the money and come buy one or 2 over here.

5) If you have laptops, bring it.

6) I don’t know about the big cities but I am in a small town (Göttingen) and bicycle is the way of life here. People cycle EVERYWHERE. Learn how to ride a bicycle.

7) if you have time, learn driving and German. These things are really expensive to learn here. I’m talking over a thousand Euros.

cool In class, I also noticed that the Nigerian students (myself included) find it difficult to speak out while the whites are free with the lecturers. Please start practicing in the mirror and try to speak out in class.

Fun fact: The other day I used one Euro coin to buy something and the cashier gave me my change, I cried a little.

Overall, please be a good ambassador of Nigeria wherever you are and learn to highlight the positive part of Nigeria. God bless us, God bless Nigeria and God bless Germany.

Bros, you really hit the nail which is be a good ambassador of your country & my country Nigeria.
