My honest sincere advice to you as a corper; please don't dabble into any business you have no prior knowledge about. And if you must do, don't sit on it like you've just gotten a wonderful mouth watery business idea(s)... Share your idea with a few people around you who have one or two experiences to guide you. You will learn one or few tricks to navigate where others failed or had difficulty!

Now with regards the business guide opinion you sort; I'll give you this: Palm Oil procuring and selling!
Can't quite remember names of some villages right now. But you can get several direct unadulterated 25 liters jerry cans of Palm Oil; from villages around Eket town; Ikot Ubum etc.
Identify your market whether in Lagos state/South west or Northern states; then I assure you that you would have gotten yourself a permanent source of business income now and when you are done with your service to Nigeria!

I did my msc in uniuyo. I left there early this year. I will advice you to start a business centre close to ikpa road campus or annex. You will make it there. Employ two people to do typesetting work and other computer related. Also engage in computer accessories, phone accessories, books selling and many more. Buy one bus of 800k and add to it. Don't invest in keke mbok

N/B: Any business that is not close to Ikpa road( Uniuyo campus), Oron road, Ikot Ekpene road and some open areas please, forget it.

Anything fashion business in uyo please forget it.

You should look into Business center, Wholesale provision store, Gas station( this is hotcake) and poultry.

At least 13% annual APR which is guaranteeing that the money doesn't reduce.

He needs to send some of the money in risk-free investments like T-bills.

I'm currently in Uyo too.. and I think you should follow this guy's advice, it's the most practical and realistic of all..
But most importantly, make more findings on them and be careful of whom you trust..
