Nairaland is largely a well-known forum and currently enjoys the privilege of being one the first forums in Nigeria in the wake of Social media revolution.

Given that Nairaland has helped its users with lots of information and ideas we have benefited from in one way or the other plus progress never ends, we will like to have a collection of ideas of how we could probably improve Nairaland.

eg
- UI/UX (User Interface Design and User Experience) of the site
- Topics making front pages
- Time at which breaking news reach front pages
- etc

I suggest, if you have ideas to make things better, carefully state it and suggest solution.

Sample Template:

Issue: Time at which breaking news reach front pages.

Recommendations: 1. Mods should be more proactive and quick in moving relevant breaking news to front pages or
2. nairaland implement algorithms which can learn and detect threads with relevant breaking news and automatically move them to front page of maybe the algorithm will send notifications to mods about these threads so they can quickly verify and move them to front page instead of waiting after it has been seen in other blogs or forums days/weeks ago.

A typical example of a very late thread is: https://www.nairaland.com/5407344/samuel-etoo-retires-football#82072353

Ok honestly nairaland needs to upgrade it's design...
Mr Seun Osewa and his team should pls make the entire website a little more graphical, add graphics design a little if not much. I understand the fact that you're avoiding such so to make the page load faster and to consume less data, but nairaland is about the only website which consumes so less data buh we still visit other webpages with more graphics...point is if u add graphics we nr go run

Thank to the Op I didn't have to open a new thread to share this idea I've had for quite a while.

Now it's a very simple one.

Just a special provision made for mentions within a thread, for easier user access.

That's it.

Thanks.
