Thegoodjoe, with his quotes. Usually, Coaches will not say anything bad about a player in public. Take those thing with a pinch of salt.

That said, Iheanacho looked hungry and determined. I was very pleased with what i saw. If he keeps that fire up. Iheanacho will be back.

Graham Potter of Brighton is very bright and he has got the team playing some breathtaking football when it comes to build up plays.

I say Balogun completes the season with him before making a jump. I bet he has not gotten the kind of education he is getting from Potter than he has with any coach.

No be for Balogun you go come with your soaking stuff, He's already in his 30's

Balogun must leave this January

Sometimes players are more concerned about the £££ and where will the next contract come from.

As opposed to playing regularly and or good football.

Balogun is not like that

How much is he earning sef?

I see, that's why he couldn't get his Swansea team to the playoffs

Graham Potter’s human touch performs miracles at Östersund

The club’s rise from Sweden’s fourth tier to facing Arsenal in the Europa League was fuelled by their English manager’s belief that success is guided by people first and players second

Potter, who had a decent if not glittering playing career mainly in the lower reaches of our English leagues, has won three promotions in the last six years with his club, culminating in winning the Swedish Cup in 2016-17 and therefore qualifying for this season’s Europa League.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/blog/2018/feb/15/graham-potter-ostersund-human-touch-arsenal-europa-league

Potter has had a good career so far but my respect to him is his build up plays which is astounding even against quality oppositions. I say Balogun goes to the end of the season with him where he will benefit highly from Potter’s defensive build up training and then make a big impact on the Super Eagles in his Last years with us.

Akpom told brila.net , “I have always known I wanted to play for Nigeria”, despite playing at every age grade for England. “Although I have played in all the youth groups for England, I have always known I wanted to play for Nigeria,” the striker said. “I am ready and I’m only waiting for the call up. My agents have been in talks with the Coaches and Federation, so maybe in a few months I would get an invite. I have signed off my allegiance.” Speaking about his chances of playing for England, Akpom admits there were no guarantees of longevity. “It’s always good to play where you’re loved. If you play for England you may only play a few games or caps and then you’re dropped for the next striker, who is hot.”

Is there any news we do jot take with a pinch of salt?

So bonucci suddenly became world class at 31? Balogun is OK, he should change clubs to get enough game time there's nothing new Porter wants to teach him

I posted a remark from an ex-professional, Graeme Le Saux, with a long playing career exclaiming he learnt more from few minutes with talking to Alderweireld than his playing career.

I am pointing Balogun still has time to make more impact with us and a year training intensely under a highly tactical system will do him a World of good. Game time with the wrong system and education will not give him the improvement we need.

Not only that, Potter has also brought back the ‘Swansea Way’ of possession-based passing soccer that had gone missing over their last few seasons in the Premier league. Last season, Swansea topped the division for pass accuracy and number of short passes per game, and had the second-most possession in the league.

Graham Potter knows build up plays and it will benefit Balogun. Just to the end of the season.

Improvement is the most important thing.

See his mouth like "I've always wanted to play for Nigeria". If he had broken into Arsenal first team we would've been the one going cap in hand begging him while he does shakara for us like a teenage girl.

It's seems these FB's have only one plan: aim for the three lions and fall back on the SE when all else fails. That's why we will continue to get the average ones while the Dele Allis and Abrahams will continue to play for the Queen.

What you are saying is devoid of the point.

The point is that a manager who works everyday with a player made some observations and you are trying to discredit his words with nothing to back it.

It shows ignorance or you deliberately want to sow a negative seed. It does not add up.

Arsene Wenger, Alex Ferguson, Mancini, Pellegrini and a host of other managers, players and staff get interviewed regularly to draw up information.

Whether Klopp likes Albino or Steve Bruce likes bow legs does not count.

You study the information and deduce knowledge from it.

Trying to discredit Leicester City management with no obvious fact is like discrediting journalism as a whole.

I really don't understand how you are reasoning.

My comments are about football in general not specifically about Leicester City.

I reiterate, what players, coaches and managers say to the press and what they say in confidence with someone they know. Are two totally different things.

I for instance know a player that a EPL club rated very poorly, but marketed him as being exceptional. They sold him for millions.

My position is very simple l take what see in the media with caution.

Of all French colonies Algeria was unique. France has been in Algeria since the early 1800s while others came in late 1800s and 1900s.
France also consider Algeria not as a colony but as part of France, it was like Puerto Rico or Hawaii to America, so a lot of French settled there over the years.
That made the war very brutal and in fact the French generals never wanted to stop and attempted several assassinations on Charles de Gaulle who negotiated the talks.
It was a bloody war with atrocities committed by both sides.

Excellent write up. We really have good historians in the house. I am always a student of history. Now I know better.

France wanted make Algeria a settled economy.
they wanted settle there just like the way the British and the dutch settled in south Africa.
but this Move was strongly resisted....

it rarely lead to several attempts of France to revolutionize the prior existing cultures in other to aid their plans but it wasn't easy and it was strongly resisted....

I guess the religious differences must have played a role too.

the west Africa weather discouraged them.
remember west Africa was tagged the white man's grave....

even though France tried settled in Senegal but they still could not stay....

the south Africa and north Africa weather really suit their life style.

prior the colonisation of the 20th century there was one of the 17the century which was aimed at pursing a more white settled economy that was when countries like USA, NEW ZEALAND (whose original indigenes = moa men/women), Australia and more....

the colonisation carried out in this countries was a bit different and all....
for example the US independence from Britian was basically "economic" the US stopped and fight to it end the payment of royalties and tax to Britain that was the independence this countries fought....

most of the whites in this countries were basically from Europe (dutch and british) for example new york was formally called new Amsterdam it became new York named after Yorkshire in England after it was bought from the dutch. like I was told don't know how true it is...

the prisoners who were Europeans where taken to this countries to own and cultivate large plantations which they later make royalties to the British government....and others it was the great need for labour to meet the growing labour demand in this countries that necessitated the emergence of the TRANS ALANTIC SLAVE TRADE and all....
