I have been watching The shape of water since Monday...... well, don't blame me, it ain't my fault the movie ain't interesting.



Is that not bestiality they are promoting?

Nope. Three reasons:

- The creature was not an animal in the basic sense of that word. He was the last surviving member of his specie. He could say he's homo amphibia.
- There was never any sex scene between the girl and the creature. Their relationship might not even be sexual.
- The film was promoting love not bestiality. Love has no shape, no boundaries... just like water.

- He wasn't a wild animal, he was just munching on a live cat for fun shey?

- You either missed the scene where she was describing the experience to Zelda or you are just plain clueless.

- Thunder strike love.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs..7/10
Genre: Action, Adventure

Great CGI effects, awesome action choreography & very nice acting especially from Idris Elba, he really aced the villain role, Johnson & Statham didn't do bad for themselves either. There were some glaring plot holes here & there & some of the action scenes were a little bit over the top, but i loved 'em all nevertheless. I would've seriously preferred it, if the flick weren't tied to the Fast & Furious franchise.
All in all, it was a solid action flick, with a good deal of comedy.

Spiderman far from home ..6/10
Genre: Action, Adventure, Sci-fi

There were just very few strong moments throughout this flick, everything else was just a joke. It is a pity though, cause i really wanted something serious & the whole Misterio villain shenanigan really sucked. Nevertheless, the visual effects & the cinematography were quite appealing, acting was just average & so was the storyline.

Toy Story 4....8.5/10
Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy

Pixar! Pixar!! Pixar!!!!...Gracias. The storyline was perfectly written, a truly befitting & heartfelt send-off for Woody.
The flick was laced with the right amount of emotions, while concentrating on the themes of love, loyalty & second chance. One great lesson learnt was how great & advisable it is for one who's stagnant/retrogressive to explore other possibilities outside their comfort zone for there are many opportunities out there. The voice cast was just spot on, Tom Hanks aka Woody & Tim Allen aka Buzz voices never changed a bit, even after all this years. All in all, it was a worthy addition to the franchise, & i really hope it ends here.

To avoid getting confused..... I had to go download Avengers Endgame..... and to understand the whole concept..... I had to Download The Avengers..... Avengers: Age of Ultron and Avengers Infinity War....and watch them with open mind

Birdbox was a pure psychological horror in that it had no real monsters, except for the ones that the characters created with their own minds. The monsters were mostly psychological. They only attacked the sane and the non-blind. It ended conclusively IMO.

Conversely, A Quite Place still has a story to tell. The monsters are very physical and real. I'd like to know where they came from, what they are... I'd like to know more. Don't you?

The Happening was a dumpster fire that shouldn't have happened at all.

Well I think it shouldn't have one. This is because, at the end of the movie, closure is given to Malorie, as it is clearly seen that she finally embraced her role as a mother and the parental guardian of those 2 kids. Also she ends up in a safe Haven with the kids which IMO, is a big win.
The flick wasn't really about the monsters per say, the mysterious monsters in the movie connotes a dipper meaning, thus, you've to see beyond the surface meaning/concept. Bird Box main concept was about parenthood and how raising kids can mean preparing them to live in a world full of harm's way that even their parents don't really understand, thus attempting to explain the mysterious beings would risk muddling the simple, but effective idea behind the story.

i was afraid this part 4 won't live up to its predecessor but i was wowed by everything from A-Z. Pixar is good! one time i was hating on Disney over pixar not knowing Disney owns them
