Such a painful mistake cry

ednut1:
its misrepresentation even though it wasn't deliberate. At the point of entry the conversation can bring it up then boom. See the case of a nigerian of recent who did not include his step daughter as she was not depent on him or lives with them. The wife was asked a honest question. And she mentioned she had a kid before but none yet for her husband. Naso kasala burst ppr was cancelled and They are back in Nigeria now adding the step daughter to their application. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/help-please-landing-gone-wrong.638643/

You are fine. Even CIC will not believe your actual siblings if both of you do not present proof. Everything in this application is about the burden of proof. Just remember never to give those step siblings proof of your relationship if they try to use you to claim points so it doesn’t implicate you.

anonyme:
Only if you later try to claim points for them. Like me, I have up to 20 step brothers and sisters, I don't have all their full names and dates of birth so I only put my immediate siblings and the few I could remember. No misinformation there, I just didn't mention and won't try to claim points for them later.

Ussyberry:

Congratulations. This is great news! PNP nomination in this era of high crs scores is gold! Wish you speedy processing and PPR.

Before this thread closes, I am here to testify (because I told God I must testify in this thread). It is not PPR or ITA but NOI from Alberta! When I was about to give up and I had started to count down to my IELTS expiration, the God who is too faithful to fail threw me a lifeline through Alberta. This is part 1 of my testimony, watch out for the full story and my PPR story in part 9 of this thread grin. We can't afford to give up on the Canadian dream, do everything you can legally to keep the dream alive and remember that it will end in praise.

No need. Their bg checks will show if you’re a legal resident or not.

You’re super hilarious. Lmao! grin

Hi Etrange.
Welcome to the forum. I am happy to let you know that the process is now very simple.
No IELTS, No WES, No CRS.

You only have to send $3,105.89 (bitcoins only) to my bitcoin address and you'd get your citizenship (you skip PR) in 3 weeks.
When you get to the Canadian airport, tell them Stencil sent you, they will know what it means.

PS: How is the wait? Any ghost updates? PPR? COPR? How are you coping without ifeoma77? grin

He/she probably forgot. I don’t think anyone would deliberately withhold that info if he/she knows it would lead to a 5 year ban. This application is so stressful, no PA would deliberately spoil it. I mistakenly omitted a trip in my travel history and it was right there stamped in my passport staring me in the face, how I missed it during AOR, I can’t understand. Hopefully he/she has raised a CSE after all the scolding and warning here grin

LeFreakSoChic:

Can i just ask you a question. Why did you not mention it? It is a simple question. Have you ever been denied a VISA before. ? Some times human beings are just the architect of their own misfortune..

Ok well understood, but is it possible to also get transferred to AVO when you are not based in Nigeria but your work experience was claimed from naija? am just thinking of what if an interview is required for such person grin, will you travel from lets say US to attend interview in Accra? that one go strong small grin

ladymarshall:
No they don’t have to but they do. I know the website very well and I have shared it here in my earlier posts. I’m speaking in reference to a particular case. Ottawa couldn’t verify the employer via online presence and the file was transferred to Accra who then did the CAC online checks. Usually when there’s confusion or any checks relating your locale, they transfer you to your local VO. I think it’s based on the assumption that a local VO can easily understand the case. Or just file redistribution.

DESTINATION ON.....

Hi guys!

I put together all required documents and submitted my application to OINP on 19th August.

Current status - DIP

Now my wait begins...

Wish me luck guys!
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by ladymarshall: 4:54pm On Sep 28, 2019
It’s possible. Usually local VOs are usually always based on PA residence. But there was an Indian guy in my group based in Dubai whose VO was London (transferred from Sydney). There was also a moniker here based in UK but because of the complication of his case had to travel from there to Accra for interview. Anything is possible with CIC. They can go to any extent to confirm bg checks in complicated cases.

When u talk of online presence do u mean website? Because my place of work has jst a Facebook account. Is that fine?
ladymarshall:
Bro, these days they even search online presence of companies and also the PA, if neither have online presence, they note it in the gcms notes for review. If your company has no online presence, they send it to Accra who will do an online check with CAC. Everything will be documented in gcms. CIC considers online as an official source now o

For Saskatchewan, must your NOC match your degree of study? Or it's just like EE?

ladymarshall:
I am so sorry to hear the painful ordeal of your refusal and non-refund. But I really commend you on your determination and doggedness to rewrite ielts and get an invite from SINP, despite your refusal. Congratulations on the nomination. I really admire your determination.

You would need to thread carefully because SINP has a very thorough bg check on its applicants and the fact that you have been refused before will further make them more rigorously meticulous with your application before it gets to CIC who would also zoom in some more.

Without sounding harsh, the first mistake you made after the refusal was to argue with your VO on the NOC Choice when it is glaring from your reference letter that he/she was right. Your NOC choice was partially right but the duties as stated in your reference letter that you performed were insufficient for that NoC. The issue is not whether you have 10 years of experience in that Noc, the issue is whether your reference letter proved that you performed sufficient duties to claim that NOC. Also the line of argument in your appeal that you mentioned that you have a Bsc and MSc in your NOC expertise must have infuriated your VO. We all know that education is irrelevant when it comes NOC. Only work duties matter.

Your reference letter is very problematic and confusing (pardon my bluntness). The major mistake was that you lumped all different NOCs together when you were only claiming points for one NOC. No idea why you did that. Point 2 is arguably Noc 1221. Point 3 appears like Noc 1221 from your job title but the duties are closely related to HR officer NOC 1223 or 1121. Point 4, 5 and 6 are managerial Nocs so your chosen Noc 1221 does not even apply. The jobs titles of points 4,5 and 6 in your ref letter look like Noc 0114 but the duties you performed are closely related to HR manager Noc 0112. For Point 7, the title and paragraph intro looks like it’s a managerial NOC but the roles look more like an HR officer NOC 1223 or 1121 roles. Do you see the problem? You chose your NoC based on the job title but your roles show otherwise. Also the NOC you used for EE only has 3 roles @ point 2 which is why VO refused you for insufficient duties performed. And you reappealed using this same problematic reference which is why your GCMS shows what you’re seeing there. Nothing will change in your case if you don’t get a new reference letter.

Solution.

1. Raise a new CSE reappealing your current appeal since VO has not made the final decision officially to you via email on your case. (Which is also why you have not gotten a refund yet). Get a new reference letter for your 2009-2012 role which kind of aligns with Noc 1221 containing 10 duties in that Noc and attach, begging the VO that you were wrong earlier and kindly request to reconsider your case and consider your new documents that you have attached in making their final decision. Also mention that you would like to move the rest of your experiences and promotions in those other Nocs to your personal history. You can add another attachment showing a table for your new personal history. Pm me if you like me to look through the drafts. Then the VO would reconsider your new reference letter and the new personal history table to reopen your case and give you PPR. You should be happy that you’ve been waiting for months for a new appeal decision and that your GCMS revealed this to you. You should also pray that the Vo does not get back to you on his final decision via official mail before you get your new reference letter.

2. For SINP, which Noc were you nominated for? That would determine your next course of action. If it is for Noc 1221, you can’t use this current reference letter. You would need that new reference letter that you want to use for reappeal. So hurry and get that letter. If you can get it early next week, do it sharp sharp, don’t waste time.

I wish you all the best.

Thanks to everyone, please I am not yet very skillful on nairaland, I would love to send you a draft and get your input so as to get it approved and signed by the supervisor during the period in question on Monday. I have followed you and sent a message to you also.

Jbzzyy:

So sorry about your ordeal JPJ. As a fellow FG worker, this is close to home. And I know our duties are practically the same on paper even after several promotions (until directorate level).

In view of this, you need to get a new reference letter from your place of work. I would also suggest you provide a sample for the HR person highlighting requirements from IRCC plus job responsibilities over the past years, in bullet points, regardless of under which rank you were (these should align closely with your chosen NOC), then you can mention your promotion timeline altogether in a separate paragraph or leave it out all thesame.

This will make the reference letter more logical and straight forward without altering any of your roles or promotions.

Although I think this can be attempted to reopen the previous case, I dont know if it is too late. However, you can also try using this method for the new application.

This is my opinion, you can checkout possible ways around it from others.

Thank you, God willing by Monday I should have the letter.

Amazing free style poem. @bold cracked me up so bad grin grin cheesy

I’m in that maturity stage now o. The best I can do is keep waiting and keep busy. My thoughts are still with CIC tho

The Poem...( can't come and waste)

By the way I became a free verse poet during the wait...it's part of the story so enjoy!

You go on Nairaland, it's another PPR news and the celebrant got it in two months. Wow! You believe that's exactly how your story would play out. You've seen the signs. You dreamt about the VO saying "highly favoured one receive your PPR". You've sown a mighty seed to reduce the timeline, the guest pastor specifically called you out in church and told you "that thing you're looking for, God will do it in less than one month". You've made sure to tap and claim all short timelines on Nairaland. You've even bought an expensive plot of land at the beginning of the thread in I'll Announce my PPR in this Thread Estate.

You're more mature and spend your time doing more productive tasks rather than trying to decode IRCC.

Sis you finish work here o. This is one of the most elaborate PPR stories I’ve read. Thanks so much for sharing and congratulations. I’m so happy for you. You’re such a good and funny writer. Definitely we have to meet, I shared a connection with you when you first commented on my poem and reading yours now, chai, take kiss kiss

Lmao! I tell you when I wrote that “prepare your mind for a long wait” post, I wasn’t prepared. See me na, CIC want to do me strong thing. Sighs. I’ve added you to the list of those I must meet when we settle in Maple land. You score 10/10

I wish you and your husband all the best in your landing and settlement in Canada.

Title: Probably the Longest and Most Uneventful PPR Story Ever

[b]3 Months+ POST AOR

It's 30th of April 2019 and I'm dancing round my house and singing "He has done for me, He has done for me..." if you have plenty education and you're shaking your head right now and saying "Nigerians!" Don't worry as long as you're on this journey, you'll surprise yourself.

Did I tell you one of my clients offered to process a German visa for me along with work during this process? I just remembered Ladymarshalls debate and told him "I'll think about it"...I'm still thinking about it smiley
@Ladymarshall we have to meet!
