greatcheer:
Please who can recommend a good affordable hospital for childbirth in Canada from Nigeria and the estimated cost thanks, also is 5 months pregnancy too late to start the visa processing, of no please who can recommend me to an agent.
Also if I want to deliver there, must someone send me a visitor letter from Canada or rather must I have anybody there before being approved. Thanks all

You will have to read up to see different hospitals that has been mentioned here, you can go ahead and call them to get updated bills cos most of them has increased their bills.
5months is very ok to apply. If you believe you can't do it yourself and need agent wink go online and search on Instagram lol.
You don't need someone to send you a letter but you may need a doctor to send you a letter or call to book appointment.

Hello Hotstepper,

How about the new immigration law concerning automatic citizenship that they shared on Aug 29th that would take effect from
Oct 29th 2019.

Hotstepper:
both canada nd US give automatic citizenship at birth

Should I write back to them??
Please I will appreciate any suggestion.
Thank you.
My application is handled in London.

Application(online) submitted June 2nd

You should write them again since its only by writing they seem to respond.
I think that now you've shown them your proof of pregnancy and they can see your Expected date of delivery, their plan will be to hold onto your application till you deliver then they will request for your passport for stamping lipsrsealed. Cunny man die, cunny man bury am cheesy
Canada embassy, una dey try mtchewwww

Hello everyone I’ve read all post from beginning to page today. Lol grin
And I just wnat to thank everyone for leaving detailed information.

Please who’s Dr K? I couldn’t seem to locate much info about this specific doctor.

Good afternoon ma,

Please I’d like to know if you got a doctors written appointment.
And also can you help me/us with the details of the doctor your are using, like their name, phone number, and office address/ or which hospital they are registered with (if that’s the correct term lol)
thank you ma

Okolinneoma:
Greetings house,
I sent an email over the weekend to make an enquiry about my visa application. I applied june2nd and did biometrics June 13th. I got a mail today requesting for:
1)provide evidence( medical documents) that you are pregnant.
2)provide evidence( letter from a doctor in Canada) that your stated appointment is confirmed. Request the dr in Canada to provide you with an estimated cost of delivery and other fees involved in your birth tourism project.
3)pls provide additional proof of funds if the estimated cost is higher than what you have submitted in your current budget.
This must be recieved by 28/08/2019.. sent from the London office.

N:B I already made an appointment with a doctor via phone and included it in my letter of explanation as the Canadian doctors don’t give correspondence. The doctors office also gave me their bill, which was what I used to make my budget.
Please, I need your suggestions on how to go about this. Thanks

Good day ma,
You have truly been helpful in this forum.
Please could you help me/uis with the contact details of Dr K?
I would appreciate a lot.
I tried PMing you however Nairaland won’t allow one to change the messages.
Thank you ma and God bless your efforts

Candybright:

Is this Dr K?
I guess you have other requirements except Dr's letter. You can send me a PM . The time is short though but its achievable.
It's also good to know they now consider medical visa for childbirth.

Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Aitagoodvibes: 11:00pm On Sep 24, 2019
Please is there anyone who has given birth before in canada and has tried again for visa?

Sorry for all these questions o.

Thanks.
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Aitagoodvibes: 11:01pm On Sep 24, 2019
Lol

I think what had happened was I only knew him as Dr Ayodele so I then searched for him on google and realized his full name was Kayode Ayodele so I came back to respond.

wink

Candybright:

Search Dr K on internet, his details are there.
Oh, you don't know the fully meaning of "K" grin that means you've not read lipsrsealed. I responded to you

UPDATE:

Just received the decision email few days after getting the biometrics letter and the reason for denial is:

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your travel history.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.
Sincerely,
IRCC Nairobi.

Is there anyone that has received this and reapplied or replied and then got a positive decision?... Also, any proper explanation for travel history being that I just finished NYSC and yet to travel.
Want to know the next step to take.

Thanks.

Well, sorry about the denial. But, if you had shared your profile with us here before you applied, we would have advised you appropriately. Canada is very strict with ttavel travel history. That is one country that if you have never travelled out before, it would be very difficult to get their visa. I have not seen anyone without ttavel history get a canadian visa( i stand to be corrected though). You might have to chill for now and try other countries before reaaplying to canada again

Secondly, as for the ties, you did not mention the documents you submitted. Since you just finished nysc, are you working yet, are you married, do you have landed properties. What documets did you submit to establish your ties at home here. It will be difficult to advise appropriately without this info.
By and large, you have to work on this points raised before you can reapply. Why not look at other countries like schengen to try and boost your travel history

You are right, Canada likes travel history the way monkey likes banana. Even if its one country, that will help. Even if its U.K or Schengen. But people will cross their legs and wait for pregnancy to arrive and apply to Canada for birth and expect magic. Let's try and be travelling o, I'm talking to myself too. There's nothing like no leave, no transfer grin Many embassys re not smiling.

I think the reason why people don’t bother talking is because no one answers them when they ask questions. It’s only candybright and Hotstepper that tries to Atleast answer or suggest to newbies. There was a lady here who asked for assistance when she got a request letter, when I had same issue I personally asked her severally and she refused to answer, even other people asked her different questions about her application and she was rude to them.
If the sabi ones can learn to be open and help newbies, the thread will flow.

Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Hotstepper(f): 1:36pm On Oct 01, 2019
I am actually very upset to say the least and I will address ur issues in bullet points so it is clear just like i did months back when something like this happened. And after addressing this issue, I will never address it again even if it comes up 100 times after today.

1. US thread is moving as u want to believe cuz people who have gone comes back to give feedback, how many people do it here?

2. I have never presented myself as a Canada expert, people just believe that cuz I am in Canada and havr direct link to everything which I do not . If you have read this thread,I have put up information that I know etc and it is left for people to read the the thread. I am not here to babysit anyone cuz if information is important to u, it is either u or ur husband will take time to read nd also use google.

3. I am glad u said 3 ppl u know contacted me and never posted here? why didnt they post here? nd if they didnt post here, how did I get to offer them my service if they didnt write me? with the amount of emails I get, I can easily not reply but i do and as I always say to them, all info is on NL and googlr but if I am going to take out my time to do the job then it is not free.

4. As I said before wen someone lashed on me that she is a busy women so cant read nd all and I told her so me ehh I am.not busy. Let me say it again, I am a.wife and mother with a full time job with no.house help unlike most people. I have done my best to be active on this thread to provide information. The other part lies on you people who have come nd given birth to now give feedback.

5. I know how many people I have encouraged to give back to the thread but they refused saying they were not helpef during their own process so let everyone fend for themselves.

6. When you talk about my services, I do not advertise anywhere.or any social media cuz i do not even see it as a job . However, as Nigerians are lazy to.do the work they r seriously in need of, I will.not be taking out time to do thay job for free, I am.sorry. There r information online which is free and everyone has access to it. If they are to use agents in Nigeria, is it going to be free plus these agents r on here on NL taking info.

7. The drs I have provided here for nd the hospita.associated with them aint taking again, why? nobody knows ans nobody wants to find out yet they will reach out thinking I have drs handy I know. Let me say it here, I do.not know any drs and and if u contact me about dr, it is the same google.of which.i spend all my lunch time calling drs. So after spending this time calling drs nd say 1 is successful, shey I will give it for free. Everyone google and call.period. drs/hospitals r hard now cuz people come and not pay cuz they do not have the fund etc .

People run wen i say it is not free cuz those info they can find it themselves..Let everyone know now.since all fingers r posting at me that if u find urself in canada either witjout anybodys help or with an agent nd get stuck, plz always remember to figure it out urself using google or back to the agent u paid. Maybe then, Hotstpper's name will leave people's mouth.

Even people who have family and frienda here say those people.do.not wqnt to help or they have triee and nothing. So of these people have tried and nothing, what makea them think it is easy for me. It is the same google nd keep calling drs. I donnot put gun for anybody neck. I always say ask ur people, read NL and.google but If i am to do thay suffering then it aint free cuz it is not me that thr informstion is important to. I should not be doing all thr work for people and then they relax, where does that happen?

Hava great week.

Bluefin:
The différence between Canada and USA thread is that everybody brings their question on board. in this thread Hot stepper has presented herself as the canada expert so i suspect people just reach out to her for her service and she works with them directly- which in a way is not fair on the thread or growth of the thread. This thread is dying a natural death due to this.

The USA thread there is alot of information there because this kind of thing is not happening there.

Hotstepper please note that this is not in anyway to aggravate or upset you. It is just my humble true opinion and im sure if you are true to yourself you will agree. I personally know three people who have never posted here but you offered your service to them. Although none of which eventually used your service.
