Na wa for these people sef, y the need for major hardware change? undecided

They want International users to buy more of Global Versions. And if you noticed they have improved in the release of more Global Versions for their devices. If na before RN8 PRO no go leave China and probably India

They made alot of profit seeing there pricing of phones with less than average specs knowing they had little or no competition in that price segment

The writer of that article sure put their strategy in glaring terms. They scrap old and outdated tech, probably at dirt-cheap prices too and flood the African market. No wonder they still use MTK chipset of 4 plus years ago on 2019 smartphones.

Sadly ignorant buyers will be like they're caring for the African, non techy customer by offering low cost smartphones.

Pure scam if you ask me.

Someone will come here and tell you that they're even doing us a favour. That without them, we wouldn't have been able to afford a smartphone

Using expired patents and not investing in software development gives you advantage of making very cheap phones and selling cheap too.
No wonder they release similarly spec'd phones all year round

But stealing IP got them a $6bn valuation. Never knew they were worth up to that. They've really made a kill in the African market.

The board must be greedy. Since they were already raking in big bucks over the years what stops them from upping their game? Instead it is Man City endorsement and marketing that was the priority

Upping their game may seem to them like starting from the scratch. More so, they are not ready to compete in any way with the big boys. Comfort zone things

This is ripe for dispute right?
I almost forgot about this. grin
I suppose the "contact support team" means raising a dispute.
By God's grace. I just opened one for an order that's 56days old without 1 level of shipment from waiting for pickup.

Aswear! People tend to have short memories, as if Nokia, Samsung & Motorola Symbian smartphones were not all over the place before the arrival of Android.

how is the image quality compare to Gcam 6?
is this v9 stable?
Yes it's stable and the image quality is superb especially if you increase the exposure slightly. First clear all gcam data and uninstall all previous gcams, reboot and install gcam 7.
Modified.
