Blackivy29: I understand the basis for the research. My point is this research is not substantial enough to prove your claim... You said domestic duties deprived female to contribute to inventions and creative innovation which is false.......... And the female sample is too limited to juxtapose with the few men in your fact.... |

kazyhm: Can you prove the bolded? Without any research sef, here in Lagos from my experience, female children do more house chores than their male siblings. |

lagosminded: Can you prove the contrary as well......what domestic duties deprives female of using their brain ? Male children do more tasking chores....from waking up early to prepare popman's car for work to fixing stuffs and running errands....etc are those not house chores ? To make matter worse, some male children can even cook better than their female siblings without being taught. I'm done with you |

I didn’t make a claim as a fact, you did. I said from MY experience, a girl child does more housework than a boy child because she is being prepped to be a wife material. Boy children their chores are usually weekends washing the car. So again I ask can you prove the bolded? kazyhm: |

lagosminded: Wash car only on weekends ? You know nothing then.....a boy from an average Nigeria home washes two cars every morning, Ensure the decorder is working for your pleasure, clear the grass in the compound, fix minor plumbing and electrical issues, kills the rat and cockroaches tormenting you in your room, irons plenty cloths on weekends, ensure the Gen is serviceable, run errands etc. The kind of beaten you get if you forget to do even the work you're not sent ehn! Stop saying what you don't know or probably was applicable during your up bringing. We need not go too far or apply statistics....if we itemize chores in an average Nigeria home, boys are far more responsible than girls........what other things do girls do at home other than cooking, going to market and washing plates. Even the gas you use to cook the food, boys purchase it. Itemize the chores in your home while growing up and let see how many you did on your own without any assistance and at what age you started and stop doing them. Well, I don't blame you, the society is encouraging female in general to be lazy, make all the mistakes in this world and shouldn't be corrected but blow the trumpet in a situation they offers any little substantial gesture while the male gender should be made a slave while female folds their hand and complain about virtually everything. You're just peddling the rhetoric of female gender's weakness |

All these you just typed are conjectures, you do not know what an average Nigerian boy child does, neither do I, I can only draw from my experiences. You can’t use your own experience to make a generalized statement. Until you post proof that shows that boys do more chores than girls then you’ve made a false statement. I don’t let emotions rule me, I work with facts and statistics. There are actual studies/research done by unicef that shows girls do more house chores than boys in developing countries even worse some girls are not even sent to schools because they will end up being wives anyway. https://www.unicef.org/press-releases/girls-spend-160-million-more-hours-boys-doing-household-chores-everyday https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5860687/ kazyhm: |

lagosminded: You're just shifting narratives to sooth your myopic mind........you started the personal reference in the first place........ You want to make the Northern Nigeria as a case study ? Then you should change the topic to IQ ratio distributions between genders in the Northern Nigeria. Or better still, ratio of gender illiteracy in thr Northern Nigeria If you use the Number of president Nigeria had had as a reference for most languages spoken in Nigerian, you will get a trivia conclusion that FulfudeHausa as the dominant language. |

Between me and you, you’re the one making up stories to fit your agenda. No need for long stories, post your proof or shut up. When you have prove that supports your claim then we can engage. You just making up false claims to fit your biased agenda. kazyhm: |

lagosminded: You see your life outside ? Consistency of performance is a vital prerequisite for IQ check. By extension, you as a specimen has flawed the conclusion of the research |
