you lie, a million years to this time Lagos is still standing. All of you have invaded our land all in the name of One Nigeria and ruin it all. You did it to Ibadan first and we are just re-building now after it was left to ruins. You've invaded Lagos again now with all sorts of lawlessness and barbarism. Lagos and Ibadan that is supposed to be contesting with Mallorca, Manila, Barcelona, New York and all can't even compete with Joburb and Dakar successfully. Thanks to One Nigeria. Badagry is there living in ruins too. One Nigeria must go away so we can take back our lands from intruders/invaders.

My brother i have investments in Lagos. I am pained Lagos is dead.
I visited Akoka from the Victoria island and i was surprised at how Lagos had decayed. Lagos roads in bariga market area , akoka bariga, Gbagada is a huge descent into a huge cess pit.
If nothing is done within the next 1 year , Lagos living conditions will be worse than Borno.

U wil literarily be bumping into each other when crossing the overhead bridge, to get bus for transport is wahala, because of too much people.

Lagos is overpopulated and overcrowded, the infrastructures are overwhelmed already, the state government has to do something to limit influx of people to the state, if this influx continue unabated, the state will explode in few years time.

SE and SS governors should do things to keep their people in their States, some of them are constituting nuisance here.

bless your soul for this. This is what they did to Ibadan, we are just rebuilding now after living it to ruins, now they are all over Lagos aiming at ruining it all in the name of One Nigeria. If we fail to take back our land and chase away this invaders, we might not have anything to lean on when this One Nigeria finally sink. Go to Badagry and see how it has been left to ruins too. We must arise and save our fathersland. Just like your last paragraph, the ruins will surely be left for us at the end while they return back to their new country.

your lawless brothers from ss and se are the ones ruining our lands. Go away from our lands and go build your own region. Useless thing.

Actually, you are more useless than the person you are cussing.

How would they go back to their region when FG will not allow them to produce their own electricity, extract and refine their own crude oil, construct the FG controlled federal roads in their own region, or have their own security apparatus?

These are the factors that would provide jobs and develop any region. But the federal system of government with all their "exclusive list" prohibits such.
Folks from the SE asked for restructure, or even a dissolution of a country that is obviously not working. The FG in response, sent soldiers to shoot and kill peaceful people who asked for reasonable solution.
Yorubas mock them and pitched their tents with Hausa and Fulani who want nothing but to run the country aground.

In their quest for jobs and survival, people of the SE troop to Lagos. Yet, you complain.

thanks to One Nigeria where they all keep invading Lagos everyday with their backward mentality.

Reason we must fight hard to take back our lands from this useless one Nigeria. First it was Ibadan, they doing same to Badagry too right now. All left to ruins. Sango/Ogun/Obatala all destroy One Nigeria and give us their descendants our freedom in Jesus name.

Don't worry. Lagos is merging with Ogun state. Soon Oyo state will join too. The Ports in Warrior and Port Harcourt should be more active and the government can make other plans. This is wishful thinking of course because this is Nigeria where our mumu dey increase everyday.

Lagos needs serious decongesting. The state can barely handle any more influx of economic migrants. Other states should do more to keep their folks from moving to Lagos en masse.
Right now the federal government is in a wild goose chase of killing enugu international airport by closing it down without repairs, this single action is worse than the removal of rights of state governments to execute certain projects in the exclusive list.

The federal ministry of works just stopped state governments of fixing federal roads in their domain and the ministry will not fix federal roads in the east .this scorched earth policy is what drives easterners to Lagos to do business

be financially better in your imaginations and dreams. All we want is that you intruders and invaders leave our lands alone and go away from our lands. The ruins you've all caused it in the name of One Nigeria is enough. Go away from our lands, go and be better in your own lands just like you are financially better in your imagination. Your comment started sensibly, but then you delved into tribal slurs which portrays you as no better than the hoodrats you were cussing out.

Why do you think people from the SE and SS are fed up with your "one Naijiria?" Did you think for a minute those boys from the SE and SS flooding into Lagos had better choices? Its not just them. Check out the ethnicity of thousands of okada riders. Most are from the far north. In fact, many are from neighboring countries to northern Nigeria. So, do remember to direct your impotent rants as them as well.
At least their SE counterparts would eventually settle to a somewhat organized life, start businesses, pay taxes, contribute to developments in their own little ways and a certain percentage would eventually become landlords in Lagos. Can you say the same for those from the north and neighboring countries?

I mentioned that folks from the SE are fed up with "one Naijiria", right?
Now, you ask their state governments to do something to attract their people and prevent them from trooping to Lagos. All right.

Now, when it comes to opening up a town and make it experience growth and produce jobs, government has a huge role to play. What are those roles?
Provide stable electricity
Provide good roads
Let each state/region have control over their airports and seaports.
Give incentives to attract investments/industrial establishments

The first 2 should be in place before an industrial revolution, right?
Now, who is in charge of the first two? Federal government. To a lesser extent, state governments are into road construction (so called trunk B roads)
Ask anyone who should know. The most important roads within any geographic region in Naijiria is controlled by the FG.
FG put so many items under an "exclusive list" that it controls. This includes roads, airports, seaports, electricity, armed forces (including police) crude oil exploration and refining, mining and exploration of ALL mineral resources etc.
Few weeks ago, FG told state governments that it would not reimburse for any federal roads the latter chose to repair. So, no more motivation for state governor's to fix such roads.
The bulk of monthly allocations the FG gives to states are used to pay the civil services, build/rehabilitate portions of few roads, and the rest goes into private pockets of state government and its officials. Real potential for growth is stifled.
Did you know that the international airport in Enugu got shutdown by FG under the guise of repairing the runway nearly two months ago? Till this moment, no preliminary work or pretence at work has been done. Hundreds have been rendered jobless through that scam alone till further notice. If "hustling" pushes them to Lagos, you would still complain abi?

See, I've said enough. The helpless people you are criticizing are mere victims of an unjust system. Government has failed. Which is why sane people are asking for a restructured government with autonomous geopolitical regions like prior to 1960. Failure to do that, nothing but chaos and a total implosion of the country would ensure.

What you are complaining about is a symptom that has been festering for a long time. The people of the SE and SS and others you are blaming are as helpless in the face of it all.

Silly yorubas keep mouthing "one Naijiria"
So, enjoy the one naijiria. You have no right to complain if the entire 200m Nigerians choose to relocate to Lagos State.

This is just the beginning.

Every Igbo, Efik, Ijaw, Ibibio, Tiv, Jukun, Urhobo, Bini, Fulani, Hausa, Gwari, Igbira, Igala, Itsekiri, every minor or major tribe from every nook and cranny of naijiria has as much right as every Yoruba (non Lagosians) to live, eat, shit and fvck in Lagos as much as you do.

That is the problem with an average Yoruba moslems.

They are shouting SE/SS that believes in Lagos and invest hard to make it grow but forget to direct their attention to the Northerners that import only Okada, sleeps under the bridge and dirty the entire state.

The highest thing a Northern will do in Lagos is to rent one shop and occupy there with 15 people but an average Igboman that will buy will land, build house and establish businesses is problem to a lazy afonja yoot.

Una never see anything, we will rather pursue una back to Osogbo than to leave Lagos unless the Aworis and Binis ask us to leave

I think Nigeria should create a new commercial capital somewhere at the fringes of Kogi state , no need to ask people to go back to their states in a unitary state like Nigera

I cannot forget that day I took that risk that was suicidal mission in disguise. Guess what! I came to Lagos having nobody and where to squat. What a wild escapade it was. Today all are history.
