Sheayi we both have same problem. Me I have put money in my block account since August up till now no date.

To show u how fraudulent those Finitiba people can be if u ask for a refund the form you are to fill is written in Chinese and German.

How come when paying in money its English but if u want to withdraw it changes to German.

Then they say u must go to the embassy to collect a form bla bla bla.

If not for the fact that I blocked my account already and paid part of my fees the moment I heard about that new UK visa policy I would have switched immediately

Yeah, I am aware you ave to go collect a form from the embassy to get your money back which is quite ridiculous.
I am also considering the UK too and willing to make the switch ASAP I don't mind waiting a year or some months. It's just that tuition for my programme (Visual Effects or digital effects) is crazy and not so many scholarships for it. But then again I am hearing about something else people are applying for that just opened in the UK -- exceptional talent visa (Tier 1)

So you are trying to convince yourself that sassy92 personally applied for SL with German local authority and hand it over to complete stranger for free?

Guys pls this AD wahala is getting serious o. As I’m trying to rebook without canceling just to know if my booking is still active which it seems it is since July. Means my data wasn’t purged right? I’m just afraid I used October 1 as start date I guess cos there’s no place to input enrollment deadline. Till now no date o. What should I do? Should I cancel and rebook.

@All

This thread has to move on now without derailing and for those who are still interested in carrying on with the back and forth should open a separate thread preferably outside this section.

If you used October 1st as start date on that embassy booking portal how do u expect date wen we are already on 5th of October.... Let's us be reasonable and frank with ourselves... Please my brother it's either you defer your admission to summer or seek enrollment extension to January next year so u can cancel ASAP and rebook with later date.

@just wise i plead with you to forgive Sassy. She did let her guard down at some point though.

I hope the younger minds here are not taking this issue personal or taking sides.

You needed to put your foot down as some issues should not be discussed here.

We need to learn not to abuse processes because doing so will be detrimental to others and those coming behind.

There is a reason behind legitimately obtained SL and BA by the German authorities.

Let us not make a straight forward process difficult with our tongue.

I have benefited from her to be honest when i needed guidance on AD for my nephew.

Please have mercy.

Thank you.

Guys is it must to add address in the motivation letter? My motivation is more than one page and I have trim it down to one page and no space for my name and signature, I am trying to see how I will trim it again to add my name and signature. And my address is not there yet but I put the embassy address.

Remove the two address to create space ; you are not posting it, it doesn't really need address. The embassy is after the content and noting more

Yes.
University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt
Website: https://www.fhws.de/en/

However, their English bsc courses are only for winter semester.

Also a university in Hamm-Lippstadt offers Bachelors in Electronics Engineering taught in English.

Use DAAD.DE/en for more options.

Do you know, if you already have a BSC., and you are vying for another, you could email the school, or the course coordinator of the course, to see if you could be considered for a higher semester entry this summer. I emailed 4 schools, FHWS included, in that regard and their responses are positive.

Thanks, any uni offering Bsc in Business informatics or info-tech courses in English?
There are universities offering the course. Do not focus on that course alone. It's relatives, also english taught, are offered in many Deutschland uni.

I want to believe your school transcripts you are talking about is university or HND transcripts. If eventually you have the original copy of this transcript by hand you don't need to send the original to uniassist.
What you need to do is to make photocopies of these transcripts and other educational certificates and go to High court to get them notorized. You may even book appointment online on the embassy website for certification of documents for universities application...

Also, why would you want to go through studentkolleg admission? when u can directly apply to university with either your university year one or HND transcripts.... Please note you must have minimum of B2 in German to even cope in studentkolleg...

I will advice you read through this thread very again.

Please do not send any original documents to uniassist.

Cheers..

Actually bro, i graduated from a University in Benin republic, i went through this thread and found the issues regarding people who studied at Benin republic, i just completed my A1 studies in German and moving to A2 level this month, but at the age of 25 will i still be considered for studentkolleg admission?

Thanks for the reply bro..

I graduated from a university in Benin republic, although I'll be applying this summer with my Benin republic transcript, but incase there any probs, that why I'm enquiring about the studentkolleg route, I'm already learning German.

But hope at the age of 25 I'm not too old for studentkolleg

Good morning everyone, i have some few questions to ask , if i finally get my Transcript from my school and make photocopies, do i still have to send the original to uni-assist, and if i do send the original will it be sent back to me as I'll need it when it time for interview.

I plan on going through the studentkolleg route, I'm 25years old, will i be admitted as i heard that they only give studentkolleg admission to people not older than 20.

Age doesn't matter. I had a course mate who was 30 then.

As someone in Germany has advised that no age limit for studentkolleg admission, i will also advise that you package ur qualification very well, put all your educational qualifications with transcripts in one pdf and start sending mails to your intended courses coordinators. If you have related work experience in your intended courses get a letter from that employer maybe a recommendation or reference letter stating the duration of your experience with the organization stamp and attach it too.

Send a mail of admission inquiry and ask them to review your documents for possibility of getting admitted..Most of them will give u a response that will guide u whether to continue the application or follow the studentkolleg...

Hope this helps!

Cheers...

This situation seems like its a total mess right now! I have booked and cancelled twice, my recent booking was done on August 14, I used December 16th as my date, I hope something good happens this month. I have already funded my BA, I don't know if I should send the proof / confirmation to the embassy maybe that might show seriousness on my part IDK.
