It is well with the road

Goverments come and go. Nothing changes. The first term of this goverment has passed. In our nascent democracy first terms are always the performing of the typical two terms because elections lie at the end. Second terms are usually spent in political skullduggery, battles to instal defenders who will watch their backs and hide their skeletons. Nothing meaningful ever gets done.

I just cannot see what wll motivate this goverment to do better now that thw citizens are too trauatised to hold it accountable.

Said it in my welcoming speech in May 2015 that the best this goverment will give during its tenure will be at best superficial improvements. Nothing deep seated and fundamental will change in this country that will bring meaningful development to Nigerians. Simply because nothing deep seated and meaningful was proposed as the election winning strategy in 2014.

And unfortunately the citizens mistook propaganda for strategy and sentiment for values. This is the result. Those who voted them in can no longer speak, just muttering in solemnity to themselves....

I sympathise too...

That road is an apology. Infact the road looks like the venue where 2nd world war took place.

Buhari can't wait to hear their plea twice and he will send relevant authority to go and fix it......yes that's how they share the national cake among themselves leaving the eastern and southern areas to surfer not considering they're the region providing the largest chunks of meat they're devouring, if you doubt it just imaging the gigantic infrastructural developments going on in the West and north, then go to the East and South to confirm it

This Car is vgood for nigeria roads

Most of these roads need expansion and total rehabilitation.Whatever happens to our budget on these roads.You need to come and see the suffering on Ikorodu-Shagamu-Road,for over 3-weeks,the Residents have no hope on this road,despite the award to the Arab Contractor since,the job is on a snail-speed.The people were not told when the road will be completed,an aberration.Since the Lagos-MFM-Ibadan road is under serious reconstruction,the main one closer is Ikorodu to Sagamu,but it's been hell,while Ikorodu -Ijebu-Ode is crumbling.The government(Fed.and States)have to step up-construction of more roads,more drainages,more access-adjacent roads that will serve as alternative to the main ones- the people are already stressed out because of the bad roads.

Ogun state is the 'HOME OF BAD ROADS' please come to our aid at Joju-Sango Ota axis, the road is disastrous.

If you come my area in ikorodu.... ur motor won't be the same again .. one trip will reduce your vehicle life by 2 years
