I am not Omatshola's fan but I was shocked myself for he clearly deserved that money. But they just decided to give it to Mike as consolatory price. Very unfair!

Even bet9ja Instagram handle congratulated him after d last arena games, that his money is safe in their vault. Its obvious someone in high place wanted Mike to win dat as compensation.

You calculation is good, but not correct. There is nothing like "who reached finals" here. The rule is least overall time to complete task(all task accumulated). Even bet9ja Instagram account congratulated Omashola after the last Friday arena games, saying that his money is safe in their vault. Giving it to anoda person at d end is pure robbery. With this ur reason, Authorities will do what they want, knowing fully well that people will defend them at d end.

It's cumulative shortest time.. Omashola that was buzzed out in one Friday game where he failed in fixing a puzzle..

And his team also got a 7mins finishing time as well..

Which gave him a higher time than Mike's.

Omashola did very ok in individual arena games excepts the puzzle games where he got buzzed, thereby get extra time which affected his accumulative time.

He also shared the same time with his group in which Tacha belongs. Tacha wasn't good in arena games.

He was just unfortunate. Just sub seconds difference.

omatshola may have come first in a number of arena games, there are probably good number of others he came last. as for mike, i guess he probably within 2nd , 3rd position consistently, hence winning the price.

its like 2 people writing 10 courses, one scored 4 As and 6 Es or Fs; and the other consistently scores Bs all through. The later will have a higher cumulative points.

going by your illustration, omashola also won because he got to the final, also bear in mind that mike and mercy never played any other arena game beside the one the last five HM played, which omashola also won.
there would have been a perfect defence for this decision, if omashola had left the house a week before the finale.

If A was Omashola, B was Mike and C was Mercy, C would still win.

Every single housemate present every Friday played Friday Arena games. Pls check the videos where Biggie kept announcing the rules from day 1 and on every Friday before the game and while announcing the results.

Note that there are 2 sets of prices; price for winner of each Fridays which varies from week to week, and price for overall least time among the 5 people in the final. Also note that this price being argued about is that of Friday Rena games only, that is the one in which they re order times on the blackboard for every week without deleting previous ones, unless the housemate is evicted or disqualified.
