I don’t know who may need this , but I found these on Jiji while window shopping for a particular Benz.

Kindly proceed with caution and follow all protocols.

Please, between this C230 and Corolla which is best when it comes to maintenance and fuel economy.

I have not seen the money you spent on your car.
What you did was routine maintenance. IMHO.

Your AC issue was not approached professionally. Someone asked you to visit Musbos, but you chose otherwise.
Battery can fail in any car, same as struts, brake pads e.t.c.

You are talking about civic; ask Tojah how he dealt with a transmission issue.
Or is it corolla that is not flood-friendly "wheel hubs"

Unless, you don't like Ehailing anymore. But don't blame the poor mondeo.

I said it here that i spoke with Mosbus and after relating the issue with him on the phone, he said the same thing but why i opted against his expertise was because of the distance (Maryland - isolo) and availability ,moreover, the two people that recommended the Maryland technician are my brother customers whose exotic cars ( Lexus Es330 and Ford Edge) were fixed by this technician since 2017 and they said if the AC developed any other fault, it would be easily to drive to the technician shop than it is to isolo .
Of a truth, when i got to this man workshop at Atiba street, Mende, Maryland, i was impressed with the array of cars he was working on (G wagon ,Toyota Landcruiser, Many corollas and Nissan sentra).
After he fixed the evaporator and found out that the fan blower has stopped working, the man who recommended him followed me to his shop and told me not to pay a dime aside the money i already paid and that's exactly what happened even though he grumbled . The man even made him sign an undertaken that if the AC get any issue in 1 year, he would fix it for free.
Since he fixed it, i haven't had any cause to worry about but the different types of repairs coming up on the car is depressing and it hasn't even pass the road test for more than a month.

Plz guys, I am sorry for interrupting the flow of discussion on the trade.

Let me start by saying good morning. I am based in Ph and want to relocate to either of Lagos or Abuja to start life afresh as things ain't going as they used to down here in PH.

A friend advised I sell off my 2002 Toyota Highlander and but a smaller car with less maintenance and fuel economy, so I can use it to go into uber in either of Lagos or Abuja.

I know I might not be able to get up to 1.5m on my Highlander, say I can be able to get like 1.2m on it and I don't have plans of where I can get more to add to it to be able to buy a car and have enough left to really hit the road in any of the cities.

Hence, I decided to come in here and seek for some advice from my brothers and possibly sisters who are already in the business. Please your kind advice and guidance is welcome.

Thanks

Still looking forward to some kind advice as I read and research on this trade.
Getting so many advice from friends... Like, go to Jos or Kaduna, you will see clean Nigerian used cars (But I fear Naija used cars), one said buy from Abj when u get there, others go to Lagos and move the car to Abj. One said buy clean Kia.

Please help me here brothers

I have a very clean and reliable car I want to give out for uber and taxify/bolt business.

It is in Lagos but I don't want to use give it to any driver on hire purchase.

I recently do park it but make use of it whenever I come to Lagos.

I need your piece of advise on how I can be making money with the car on uber or taxify/bolt.

Boss I truly understand your plight but believe me, if you're strong at heart and this car is yours and not on general rental like some of us here then I'd say look for money and fix it. It will only take 3 months Max to recoup from all indications.
You're gonna spend about 120k on it, its huge because it's not availably available but if you can just do half to get it back on the road, bro.... In 3 months you will payback that loan if you net just 30k a week.
In all you do.. I don't want you to give up, you already have been accusing *Village People* on all these, giving up would have a very awful effect on you because you'd see yourself as one that is been bewitched and it will affect your psych and mental awareness of things. Just brace up, look ahead and smile. Tell yourself you will do it and be sure.

I wish you luck bro. You have my number, you can always reach me for anything sir.

After driving a minimum of 5 days a week for the past one year, I decided to take a deserved break from the hustle and bustle of lagos life.
Came back on Saturday, hit road Sunday morning.
The usual drama started around 4pm - Oven guys make una gather here... grin
Got the request in lekki 1. Rider called almost immediately and her voice was so calm and direct to the point.
Got to rider's house, rider came outside wearing a short dress, obviously not looking like someone that was ready to go out or far.
Rider : Pls I need you to come inside my compound to assist me with something.
Me : I followed her like say she put jazz for mouth take talk to me or nah her manner of approach sha. But from the look of things, the girl nah complete butter. So I will call her "Pino Pino"
Got into the compound, pino pino say make I wait here that she's coming. Already before that point, me don already make up my mind say I no go follow pino pino enter their house. Make e no go be set up.

Lest I forget, Pino pino don already tell me to start trip Ooo..
After some minutes, Pino pino came out all smiles wearing one hot bumper short and one top that is revealing her belly.
As she was approaching towards me, I just dey wonder for my mind, What is going on here ?
Pino pino: How do I look ?
Me : Was num and staring at her for few seconds before she cut my thought... I just want you to help me select the best outfit to go out in.
Me : Oh! no problem, you look good in this one.
Pino pino : I'm coming let me change this one.
After changing like three times, I just tell pino pino say make she wear the second one.
Pino pino : Why did you choose the second dress.
Me : That one can turn head.
Pino pino : Did I turn your head ?
Me : Well, you know I'm working now and so I can go into that. Pino pino smiled and left.
Las las pino pino wear the one I suggested. Turned out that pino pino was going to see one guy for the first time.
Pino pino dash me 1k untop the normal pay.

Request don enter and nah one hour plus trip. I go continue the second drama later...

You handled her maturely and calmly. Some drivers would have abused the girl and left in annoyance.
And it was wise of you to have decided not to go inside her house.

It is relative. Some items are more expensive to replace in corolla than Mercedes Benz and verse versa

You wonder why ehailing drivers are always having accidents? It's a very stressful job that requires experience.

If I take off from Lagos at 6am from Lagos, I will be in Abuja at 3pm. The average ehailing driver would still be on the wheels till 8pm. Experience is of the essence, a test to ensure that experience exists is necessary.
