Well, you can do an affidavit to report that account number, it will be marked and if you are lucky, he will be caught.

Just that ther's no telling for sure if he used a self account or all those ones used for business.

However, if you know someone very close that works in that bank, ask them to help u get details of the account owner, transaction history, if there is heavy flow of debit and credit, its a business owner account they used, but if it is not that heavy, he used someone's personal account or his, your contact can either give u the registered contact, address and even passport on the account or you report him.

Bros na wa for you o.Have you forgotten this is Nigeria and not America...The money involved is just too much for you to risk it...People keep warning everyday on this platform not to pay before delivery. Even if the seller is confirmed, the seller is human and can decide to change anytime and run away with peoples' money...I just hope you will be lucky enough to get your money back.

Please house don't be too desperate to buy a product and be tempted to pay first because the seller is rushing you.I know as sellers it can be risky to send a package before getting paid first but all the same as far as you want to sell,you should be strong enough to let go of the package and trust me most buyers are honest....They will surely make payment once they receive the package because of the trust you gave them.I am a seller too and I do take risk to send out packages especially to my customers not based in Lagos and they have never disappointed me.

This is what I do in the situation of a new customer out state requesting POD, as much as I understand the fear of the customer, I also know some people will receive the item and black out or start prolonging unecessarily.
Let's say Customer is in Benin, I will get a contact I have in Benin and send the item to the person, my contact meets buyer and customer transfers to me then my contact releases the item to customer when I confirm payment.

In this case of clearance, if anyone is out state and wants the item waybilled and the amount is the kind you cant just give away without thinking twice, get someone you have in seller's town that you can send the money to and can meet with seller to transact with him/her then do the extras for you.

My sister the issue with us in this country is how can we trust each other. You can hardly find trust and this hurt me each time I see people get scam. I could recall that I had to resale something I bought here because is not what I needed. The guy that bought it kept asking how can he trust someone he had need seen and the rest. I felt pained, that see what we have turned this country too. The guy must have been scammed in the past and as such he had zero trust on anything called online transaction. He letter paid without seeing the item physically.

I'm sorry to be hard.... But your money is gone. The person you paid to is a chronic gambler and a fraudster. You should have done background check before parting with your cash. These people are heartless.

Never pay for any item even when they said the item is already on its way to you via so and so motors... Pay after you confirm what is sent. One guy send my sister a wrapped plain wood from jiji as laptop. Collected her 45k just like that.
