I Traveled To Aba Last Weekend, And I Asked My Uncle To Take Me Round Aba Let Me See Things Myself.
Honestly I Thought It Was All About Slumps And Hips Of Dirt Everywhere. But Was Surprised To See Brand New Roads And The Ones I was Told Were Built By The Present Administration 4 Years Ago And They Are Still Standing Solid.
Check Out Few Pictures I Took...

Okezie is the worst governor in Nigeria

Mind you I'm pdp
u don't knw aba and don't be sentimental, the major bad road in that aba is port harcourt which Is constructed by hartland construction company that I work with before.... the drainage have be completed frm number one to flyover and earthwork is going on little by little due to the rain.... faulks road leading to ariara market was also fixed by our company...... the cost of construction in aba is higher than virtually every other location in Nigeria due to the topography of the soil.... I knw how much billions the governor have given already which on only the drainage swallowed... that man is trying for real and ready to fix the roads in aba..... I'm frm edo and have worked with a construction company in aba before.

I know Aba is not bad as people condemns the city, when I visited the city it wasn't bad as people rubbish the city on media, although the Governor really need to work in some areas especially on Aba/Port-Harcourt road, it's a federal road but the Aba state governor need to reconstruct the road because that's the face of Aba, just like Obi did to Head bridge to Umuaya express road.

my brother there's nothing like trying here
the government has money and Aba alone generates billions why not channel their IGR to their development alone
a serious government would have made it their top priority
we should stop making excuses for these incompetent charlatans
the money is meant to be used for development not looting

trash trash trash

you might be comfortable with it but it's pathetic and disgusting for us that always ply it for business often

I almost missed a business meeting due to Aba bad roads a distance of 30 minutes almost took 2 hrs if not that the person I'm meeting is understood that's how I would have lost a good amount of money
so you see why I'm taking it personal.

He even added Ogun- sango ota, Oyo as Aba.

In trying to spite Abians, he foolishly hit himself on the leg..

Don't mind that dirty afonja. The dingbat was busy posting gory pictures of yorubaland and called it Aba. Smh. Aba is bad no doubt in terms of bad roads and refuse disposal which is squarely government failure. However, I like the way Igbos always call out their governors when they are not doing well, unlike those from the waste that will always hide while suffering in silence, a terrible attitude they shamelessly call sophistication.
Nonsense, shame on Ikpeazu by the way!

Ikpeazu is a disgrace, he should go and learn from Umahi on how he is doing a great job in a state like Ebonyi that is a lot poorer than Abia. I visited Aba and was unfortunate to pass through that hellish Aba/Owerri road. I never knew the road was that bad, and halfway through I was stuck in muddy water. I was totally confused because going back means having to drive through massive muddy water and going forward equally means continuing with the suffering. Luckily for me, a guy came and told me to be following him while he walked through the muddy water so I can know areas that are not so deep. I kept the governor under my breath. I had to pay the guy for his help while I drove to the nearest car wash. I avoid visiting Aba as much as possible. Ordinary flyover at Osiosioma Junction has remained rocket science while Ebonyi that was created yesterday now has several standard ones. Even Rochas bad as he was is far better than the best governor that has ever ruled Abia since 1999. Aba is a commercial city and exports goods all-over Nigeria as well as West and Central Africa. Leaving it in that sorry state is hurting its economy badly!!!

yes every city has a slum but what if the slum is 70% of the city
can we now call it a failed city.

Oga Aba is 70% slum and freaking dirty
let's call a spade by its name if it can make their useless kerosene gofnor to wake up
so be it
no need sugarcoating while my people suffer and languish in pain while pursuing their daily bread in that city when they do pay their taxes and levy

It's a wrong assessment when u live in obo ohia, ngwa rd, pH road or uratta u will be shouting but good places like okigwe Rd, Aba owerri Rd, umungasi, factory Rd, ezimma, etc are good enough without indiscriminate refuse dumping.

Aba is not yet a city it's a township if u kw the difference.

nne ehh see I'm not happy the way Aba government is handling Aba
I do visit there for business regularly and when I recount how difficult it is to move in Aba and how your feet will be soiled with potopoto even if you're inside Keke because many places in Aba are not motorable unless you want to repair your car after the journey
even Keke struggle to make it there
Ariaria is an eyesore such a big market
porthacourt rd that connects many roads in Aba
what of railway? dear the stench oozing from there will collapse you instantly everywhere as dirty as fork

see dear if you usually visit Aba especially rainy season you'll see why i was mad with those guys praising the governor with few manageable places.
what makes me mad is that 60% of Abia state IGR is being generated in Aba yet nothing to show of it
