You need to play by the rules. Don't use Nairaland to promote hacking or infringement
9. Don't use Nairaland for illegal acts, e.g scams, plagiarism, hacking, gay meetings, incitement, promoting secession.

Even if you have a means of hacking the CBN or World Bank, you don't display such openly

Do you have any prove that the guy hacked those channels?

He just shared information just like how others have been sharing info about Yayi channels.

The guy did nothing wrong cos if I have similar info, I'll also share it here

I stopped responding to mentions on Nairaland a while ago, since I consider many comments frivolous.

In order not to trivialize this, I'll educate you and encourage you to comprehend before attempting to quote me.

See below what he posted about Cccam.

Cccam is illegal and an unofficial way of viewing premium channels offeree by Paytv operators.

My intention was not to quote his post, so as to allow him edit, but your hasty response would make me quote it

I hope you've learned a thing or two.

Don't ask silly questions next time. The guy ignorantly posted more than 10 Cccam codes of different channels, which is very wrong and against the rules on this platform.

Hello everyone. Please which are the best available FTA sats for 80-90cm dish?

Guys, please I need help on this. I am trying to set up my FTA channels. I have a strong max decoder. From my research online, I read that if I want to get nigcomsat, I have to first track dstv eutelsat 36A with transponder value of 12245H/27500 and then adjust my dish afterwards. The issue now is that there is no option to do a manual search in my strong max 4950HD decoder. Though the decoder comes with a lot of already programmed frequencies, including the satellite eutelsat 36A/B, but the sat has just three transponder values associated with it and 12245H/27500 is not one if them.

Please guys I need help on this.

This image below is the screenshot showing the eutelsat 36A/B and the only three transponder values that are available I.e 12624/6200/V, 11109/3407/V and 11221/30000/V. I can't seem to be able to input and search other values than these three.

Thanks for the response. Installer is charging N5000, amount which I don't have now. Actually things have been quite rough lately for me. I was using dstv until the rough times came. I could not afford to continue with the subs and I also do not want my family to continue day in day out without television, so I had to scrape some cash to buy a FTA decoder. Luckily I have a dstv dish already and I am a bit tech savy so I thought I could get it done myself and save money for food.

The thing is that every tutorial I am seeing online does not seem to match with my strong max 4950hd decoder, the setting look different on mine. I think(I could be wrong) the reason is that most of the tutorials are based on older strong decoders.

The image below is my strong max decoder.

If your family is used to Dstv, moving to free to air would be hard by experience. Tstv would have been good but they are not stable, you can try Nicomsat

Thanks. Nigcomsat is what I am trying to get on my strong max decoder. This is the tutorial that I am trying to follow to track it:
https://www.nibbleng.com/how-to-track-nigcomsat-1r-42-5-degree-east-frequencies-tv-channels/

The problem is that the look and setting of the decoder used in the tutorial is quite different from mine, intact there is means to input and track frequencies manually on mine.

As for my family, they just have to make do with this one for now, it is at least better than nothing.

Dewze, while you are on that screen press the red button on the remote control. You will get to satellite list where transponder can be added or deleted.

After you get Nigcomsat, try reading few pages back on how to attach a second LNB to get Astra on 28.2E. Also a third LNB can be attached on top Nigcomsat to get the TSTV channels. happy hunting.

On second thought, you said your dish is facing DStv, then you shouldn't concern yourself with tracking it but input the Nigcomsat Transponder and adjust accordingly.

There are channels for action movies, telemundo, Nollywood, cartoon. Only entertainment your family will miss is football, bbnaija.

Hello Microgrant.

Do you by any chance remember that site we do visit back then around 2008/2009 to check footprint and dish size for some satellites?

Can't remember any more

Good day house, please help me out on this issue I am being faced with. I was able to track media 7 on 26deg with good signal strength but the problem I have now is that I have been trying to track Badr frequencies but it wouldn't pop any signal. Could it be that am not getting something right during the tracking or are they not on the same focal point. Please help explain this the honorable gurus in the house. Thank you.

Brother,
You're talking about footprints by dish size website. Unfortunately that site is now archived.
The good news though, a handful of other websites have stepped in to fill the void.
These include those already mentioned by microgiant and odilibe, .i.e flysat, satbeams.
Besides these you also have sadoun, satelliteguys.us, appsattv, satsig, etc
