Sir I am not opposing that out of a brand one or two of the devices may be faulty. I am talking about a general issue which has been asserted on this thread.
Okay please explain or contradict those monikers I quoted
Nothing like general issues. There is difference between isolated issues and general issues. On the Samsung thread someone complained of his unit of one the A series not charging, does that make it a general problem.

If 100, 000 persons out of over 20million conplains of an issue, does that make it a general issue? As someone who knows economics I hope you understand such statistics.

I use the Redmi 7 and I can confidently tell you you made the right choice. Redmi 7 is even more battery efficient than Redmi Note 7. The pros plenty ooo grin I've had guys ask me which iPhone am I using grin For cons, I'm yet to notice any. From the pictures I've seen here, many guys got the 2-pin charger but mine came with 3 pin (pix attached).
thank you

Please be honest stock cam back and front of the rn7 is not good. Even the stock front cam of the Samsung Galaxy A10-30 with exception of the recent A10s to A30s and even A40s.
To prove this I can quote numerous posts on this thread. And numerous posts outside this thread. And in further proof there is no time were Rn7 has not been mentioned without adding Gcam to better the picture quality
Lol.

I'm sorry if you missed my point.

And how so sure are you that GCam is a need to all RN7 users? You're just making general statements that makes people "attack" you unnecessarily. Even if you're using flagship device, if you don't take photography conditions into use, you'll still get bad results. Professional photographers took several shots before chosen one not cuz the camera isn't good enough but cuz they believe they can get something better by adjusting lens, position or postures.

GCam is NEVER a need but a want.
The Bold Is The Crux Of The Matter.....

Brother, I use Xiaomi RN7 and the camera is great. I have gcam installee on my phone,, but hardly use it. Not because it crashes, but cos it takes time to process the pix.... I would have shot like 3 more pix on stock camera while gcam is stok processing. As a matter of fact, I have never experienced the gcam crashing. The stock camera has portrait view that can blur out the background and the picture view is great. Is not as bad as you think. In fact, it is not bad at all. Trust me, its the truth.. It is really clear.
Perhaps you read reviews of people that don't know how to handle a camera. You know it's one thing to have a good camera, it's another thing to know how to you is. Some phone requires you to be stil for about 2-3bsecs after taking a shot, else the pix will be blur, but Xiaomi RN7 isn't like that, except the person was moving the hand while snapping. Kindly debunk the notion that the camera of Xiomis RN7 is bad. Samsung A20 and the likes toy mentioned have good quality though, but Xiaomi RN7 isn't bad. There is a way you can play with light rays and still hav great pix. There is a way the filyers on the pix can be set too much that it meeses up the pix, and there is another way it wil make the pix come out perfectly
Look at the third pix here, it got "messed up" cos I was backing the sun and I position the camera too low. Guess what, it was deliberate. Someone once posted a long here when I was new, one of the "G"s hereq(can't rmbr specifically ehol on photography tips. I knew some but the knowledge brushed me up. Trust me, I have some great shots on my phone though I am not a photo person. As a matter of fact, I hate snapping pix. But surprisingly, I have some great shots in my phone, but can't upload them for privacy sake. I didn't need to edit the pix (I don't edit pixl. I just set camera settings and snap, and it gets saved. Shikena...... No further processing and they are great

2curupt you quoted was being sarcastic (if I'm not mistaken).

About rooting before GCam can be installed. Yes, some devices requires this but those are old devices. But this doesn't mean OS flashing is same as rooting. OS flashing ≠ Rooting!

Hey! My old R6 doesn't need rooting to install it either!

You really don't know everything bro, those were sarcastic comments. Did you bother to read how it all started? I can clearly remember that it was all bants from them that day.

They'll see their mention when they come online and respond accordingly since they're the one that typed it.

Hope you'll be ready to admit you quoted them out of context?

At Bolded.

Go to XDA, Samsung users are begging for GCam ports, sadly only few exynos chipsets supports it. And it is a lie that GCam crashes after three photos, it is only slow in processing in some devices with small RAM sizes.

Photos taking are not lost.

Also I can boldly tell you that 95% of people here using Xiaomi have not rooted their phones and are enjoying it.

Please before you make bold statements I will advice you get yourself a xiaomi device that supports all aspects that you have doubts and use it yourself before you make further comments.

Peace.
I've not handled the RN7 but I'm sure somebody like me wey dey fear pictures/camera cheesy will be okay with the stock camera. I've seen the reviews and it's not completely bad na.

Las Las someone sometime in the past admitted that as at the same time Redmi 6 not even 5 was reigning. Flagship phones were still besting them in cameras etc. And someone was saying his camera on his redmi note 5 beats a flagship S8+ camera. Anyway.....

I said this times without number that you cant enjoy Gcam on a device without rooting @oga jboixxx. @jboixxx I draw my conclusions from what I read here. Finite...

I think that will be all.

Have a blessed day
Modified
I apologise to all those who I quoted.
You really need to update your information. If indeed you were following this thread all along as you claimed you'll know that earlier versions of Xiaomi devices needed root to have Gcam installed. But as a brand that listens they now make it installable and free of such hassles.

Your nitpicking shows you're just being mischievous like someone observed.

It's obvious you're not tech savvy and this discussion about Gcam is above your level of understanding.

Ignorance they say is bliss

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by ElvisMcCoy(m): 6:09pm On Oct 11, 2019
It was in this same thread that I posted that my Mi A1 (that is almost 2 years now) snaps good pictures and even my friends with S7edge, a flagship Huawei phone and even iPhone 7 all keep their phones and let me snap them. Why? Because apart from having a good phone camera, you need to know how to use it. KngGezy, I have never had any need to put Gcam on my device because I study my camera well and know how to take shots just as I pull my phone out. It has never disappointed me. The major problem is people don't know how to take shots. It is just like someone pointed out, he takes good pictures but if people take pictures, they don't come out as good as his. It all depends on the knowhow. Someone can use a Note 10+ and will still not take a good picture.

Now to RN7 stock camera being bad, you could never be more wrong. You should get yourself one Xiaomi device and actually use it before you criticize it. I have gotten RN5 and RN7, R5+, R6A, Mi9 for Lots of my colleagues and none of them have ever complained that their camera was bad or underwhelming.

So please KngGezy, if you don't know the whole story don't criticize.

Lots of the people who'd even complain are new to the brand.

As for the software, it is the Xiaomi's major selling point. There is no perfect software not even your OneUi. What you said regarding having to root before enjoying Xiaomi devices is totally wrong. Lots of people like me on this thread have never used Gcam. Even the Genius43 you chat with uses his stock camera.

I just feel you should get all your facts right before you put a point forward.

This is the first and last time I will say anything regarding this overflogged issue. If you truly want to criticize a Xiaomi device get one or two, compare and contrast from your own experience not by gauging few people's comments that could easily be taken out of context. When you've used a Xiaomi device, I will take your criticism for it.

I have never used a Samsung device, it doesn't mean I will come here and say a lot of untrue things about it even though I have never liked it for one day. My only major problem with Samsung is it being overpriced.
